Lucy's P.O.V
Wow! Ever since I have first joined Natsu wasn't the same as when we were kids. Natsu was a kind gentleman who protected me, now he just opens the door for himself and when i fall he laughs or walks past me. I was starting to think that it was a mistake joining the guild.
"Cheer up Lucy, I'm sure he'll notice you and change back." Erza said patting my shoulder
"It doesn't seem that way." I sighed drinking orange juice
"Well he will! Watch. It's just he is still suffering a loss of his girlfriend and you are a lot like her." She said encouraging me
"Now that she says it you do remind me of Lisanna." Mirajane said walking towards me and eyeing Erza
"Who is Lisanna?" I questioned
"She is my sister, she died a few months ago in a little accident." she whispered in my ear "Be careful saying her name Elfman gets pretty upset when he hears little sis's name."
I set my drink down and walked over to Natsu.
"You got this." I whispered to myself
"Sup." that cute guy said blocking my way "I'm Gray."
"Oh, I'm Lucy." I said trying to get to Natsu
"What do you want with him?" He said looking at Natsu
"Oh he was just a friend who helped me out." I said
"Why want him when you can have me? I mean isn't it obvious? Natsu still yearns for Lisanna and he just has you as a replacement." he said walking towards me
"But Natsu has helped me. He said he brought me here to protect me." I said walking back
"And you were gullible enough to believe him? Pft" he said flipping his hair
"E-eto." I stuttered
He then walked away. I stared at Natsu motionless thinking whether or not he likes me. Should I really be clinging onto him when it's obvious he only has me because Lisanna?
"Fine." I said stopping Gray "I will have you."
"It's ok." he said burying my face into his shoulder
I cried hard and held onto him. Some cold feeling washed over me as soon as I touched him. Was this what it felt like to leave, no betray someone?
"I'm sorry." I cried hugging him
"It's ok, I will be the guy you never forget." he said hugging me
He threw his jacket over me and put his arm around me.
"Hey don't worry, maybe I could take you out or something? Come on you deserve it." he said opening the door for me
As soon as we walked out rained poured down drenching us.
"Hmm. She is here." Gray said holding his hand to catch rain
"Who is?" I questioned
"Don't worry about it, come on lets go and eat like I promised." he said
"Drip drip drop." A girl holding an umbrella said walking towards me
"Huh?" I questioned
"Drip drip drop." she repeated
"Hurry let's go." Gray said grabbing me
"Beware of him, he is covered in sin." the girl said "He will hurt your heart and tear it apart."
"Leave me alone Juvia." he screamed crying
"Drip drip drop." she repeated "He doesn't know love, he's not from above."
"Come on." he said running
We both ran to the place where I worked and where Natsu and I reunited. I started to cry from all the memories that flooded back to me. My Dad throwing me into here and him embarrassing me by yelling or beating me in front of everyone. I hid my tears so Gray wouldn't see me cry anymore.
"This is the place where Natsu and I reunited." I whispered
"It is?" He said angrily
"Yeah." I mumbled
"What would you like to eat?" He asked me changing the subject
"Please excuse me, I need to talk to the manager here." I said stepping aside
"Sure." he said giving me a weird look
"Flare!!" I said glomping her from behind
"Hiya Kinpatsu." she said pulling on my arms "What are you doing back here?"
"Im sorta on a date." I said
"That pink haired guy?" She asked excitedly
"No." I sighed "that guy with raven hair."
"Oh him over there? That model with his shirt off?" She said pointing at Gray.
"Yeah..wait! Why is his shirt off!!" I exclaimed
"Heheh..have fun with your date!" She laughed
"So this is a date?" Gray said to me as I sat down
