"What?" I asked clearly confused.

"You were following me, stalker much?" He quirked a brow.

"No!" I said alittle too quickly. I swear I saw him smirk after I said that.

"So we have a stalker huh?" He shook his head, holding back the laughter threatening to burst out any minute now. I wonder why?

"I don't know what you're talking about." I rolled my eyes breaking free from his grip, already missing the feeling. I don't know where this sudden aura of confidence can from but i'm hoping it clings on till i leave, or else i might just fish out on this.

"You don't have to lie Slick. But I have a girlfriend sorry." He said with a smirk, reluctantly shaking his head.

"Slick?" I repeated a little taken aback.

"It means smooth and cute." He laughed and I gave him a confused expression. "I'm not smooth what are you paranoid?" I laughed.

"But you are cute." He winked. Cocky.

My face flushed and there was an awkward silence, especially for a cute guy I just met.

"I should go now." I finally decided to break the silence, feeling uncomfortable.

"Yeah you should. Next time try not to follow me, you'll barely make it without being caught." He laughed.

"And why is that?" I grinned.

"You have freakishly loud feet!"

"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes walking out the room.

. . . .

"So, why would he let you know that he has a girlfriend?"

"I don't know." I replied frankly. I was being honest but that didn't mean I wasn't a little bit jealous. "Anyway, why didn't I see you at school today?"

"I slept in, just wasn't in mood you know." She sighed, saying it like it was something natural.

"Let me call father, see how hes doing yeah?"
