All right, so here's the famous moment that converted most, if not all, Markily shippers to Marklet shippers.
At first, it may not seem that big or significant but Marklet had never really been considered as a romantic ship. This was new grounds. This was a fresh new canvas for the NCT fanfic writers who contributed greatly to the Marklet cause. From secret lovers!au to tsundere!violet, the Marklet kingdom began to dominate.
And all from just one hand hold. Crazy right?
Anyway, you probably want to know how it all went down, right?
Well, here you go!

To set the scene, Chenle, Jaemin, Renjun, Jeno, Kaede, Donghyuck, Lee, Jisung, Mark and Violet were clowning around in one of the dance studios, their backs to the mirror and the phone positioned on a tripod.
A lot was happening at once and it was all very chaotic so not many people noticed the handhold during their first viewing of the VLive.
Distraction one was Kaede and Chenle in the top right of the screen throwing "karate" kicks and hits at each other while Jisung pretended to be a referee for the "fight".
Distraction two was Donghyuck standing closest to the screen and doing a five-set aegyo.
Distraction three was Jaemin and Lee, standing on either side of Donghyuck, continuously winking and blowing kisses to each other.
Distraction four was Jeno and Renjun standing behind Jaeleehyuck and cringing at them.
With all this happening, you can't really blame those who didn't see Violet and Mark who were standing at the back.
But for those who did notice, this is what they saw...
Watching the youngest three, Mark smiled as they fake fought with each other. Chenle swung a fist at Kaede. She ducked and, with one sweep of her leg, knocked him down to the ground. Jisung dropped beside him and started the count boxing referees use.
Mark shook his head at them but chuckled softly. His laugh stopped short when he felt a hand slipping into his. He turned his head to the right and saw that Violet had shuffled closer to him. She was looking forward at the rest of the 00 line, pretending she wasn't holding Mark's hand.
"Violet," he said.
"Yes," she replied, not looking at him.
"Are you okay?"
Violet turned her head to him. "Why wouldn't I be?"
Bewildered, Mark studied her eyes which held all the emotion the rest of her face lacked. He saw a tinge of fear but of what he didn't know. With a small smile, he gently squeezed her hand then returned to Chenkaesung.
