Before Jeff apologized to Lui he thought Jeff did it all on purpose. So he wanted to kill Jeff, but when Jeff apologized he knew he felt bad for almost killing them and it wasn't like their parents didn't force them to go to party's of be fancy when they didn't want to. So he understood why killed their parents. But since he was in his feral state he didn't have control of his body.
