A/N: Hey guys im so sorry for not uploading last week. My Bachelor of Laws degree is doing the most to me. But i managed to write and edit a new chapter. I promise to upload next week without fail.

As always enjoy 🖤

I immediately called over our family lawyers to see what we could do to stop that asshole. How dare he decide to use the law against me? His very existence as a drug lord went against the law but now, he wanted to be a law-abiding citizen. Fuck that shit, his arrogance was something else. I decided not to tell Joel and Nima about the fact that he is a drug lord.

"Options?", I questioned perusing through a Family Law textbook, hoping a solution would jump out at me. They both sat in front of me in my home office, which was an extra bedroom my parents had converted for me.

"You are obliged to give him a DNA test. I should inform you though off the record I found out from your doctor that the nurse told him about the circumstances surrounding your pregnancy. So, he knows for sure that he is the father. The courts won't question how he found out but will allow him to ask for the DNA test." Nima informed me scrolling through her IPad. "Fuck, because there is reasonable doubt", chimed in Joel.

"He illegally obtained that information!" I yelled in frustration. "It's the truth regardless of how he obtained the information."

Joel muttered looking through some cases similar to my situation.

"In Allen v Allen and Worthington v Black the test was done. I suggest we settle this out of court so that we don't air out our dirty laundry," Nima suggested.

I groaned finally giving in to this hopeless situation. Even if we went to court he probably had some judges on his payroll. I had no idea how big his organisation was but I was pretty sure that his ties ran deep. "Setup the appointment with the doctor, he can hyphenate the name inform his vultures."

"We will get to it", Nima informed me. I nodded and walked out. There was nothing I could do to protect my baby. The test was done the next day and by the end of the week the records had been altered. We sent Luxane and his people a copy of the birth certificate.

I was in my home office powering down my IMac after an extremely busy Friday when I heard a banging on my door. I opened it and smiled bitterly at Luxane.

"Happy?" I questioned.

"I appreciate that you gave my daughter a Russian name but I didn't say the surname could be hyphenated".

"Fuck you bruh, you did not carry her so you don't have a choice in the matter. I complied and gave you everything you wanted."

"I solely wanted my surname on the birth certificate."

"Well I didn't want you anywhere near my child but we don't always get what we want now do we?"
