you know those times in your life where you're completely happy? where you're excelling in every part of your life and you can finally relax and enjoy life? where you love everything about your life in the moment?
well i don't.
today was suppose to be the last show of my tour. the tour which i met my girlfriend mackenzie ziegler, became closer with my sister lauren orlando, and got to hang out with my best friend hayden summerall. today it would all end. and today, so would other things.
"johnny, soundcheck in five!" elle yelled (yall i forgot about elle in this whole story oof)
"again ELLE, why do i need soundcheck if we've rehearsed in this venue before?" i rolled my eyes. she chuckled.
"no wonder ziegler likes your annoying ass. as your manager, you do what i say. or is there a problem here?" elle crossed her arms. "fine," i said, looking annoyed as i walked downstairs to soundcheck.
it only lasted fifteen minutes since i practiced my own songs. mackenzie and lauren were still sleeping, and while elle believed she needed to rudely wake me up for an unnecessary ritual, she let the rest of my friends sleep. favoritism at its finest.
i snuck into mackenzie's room and lightly climbed onto her bed. i watched her as she slept, a literal angel. i couldn't believe in just a few hours everything we shared would be over. i laid down next to her, softly kissing her forehead, but being the heavy sleeper she was, she slept through it. then i wrapped my arm around her waist, feeling her warmth and fell asleep holding her.
