Adeline was curled up under the covers, sound asleep. Her hair covered her face, and a few strands of it moved upwards with each exhale. As she rolled over, she began to come out of her sleep, and the room seemed warmer than usual. She smiled and hugged her pillow, taking a deep breath as her eyes opened.

"Morning, sunshine," Roger whispered, smiling down at her. He was near the foot of the bed, a tray in his hands.

"Morning, Rog," she murmured, rubbing her eyes with both hands. She pushed herself upright, stretching her arms above her head with a quiet groan.

"Sleep well?" he asked, walking over to the empty side of the bed.

"Mhm, I did. What've you got there?" She tilted her head a bit, a sleepy smile on her lips.

"Breakfast. Nothing major, just eggs and toast. And some orange juice, because for some reason, you like that stuff," he said, sticking his tongue out. Adeline laughed as he sat beside her, settling the tray over her legs. She pressed a small kiss to his cheek and set her head on his shoulder, feeling his hand rest on top of hers.

"I always knew you were a softie," she teased, laughing as he rolled his eyes.

"Only because I love you and you've been on my mind since '70," he said, wrapping an arm around her.

"Aw, a whole five years? You must've been so lost when I went back home to finish school," she hummed, tilting her head up to press a few kisses to the side of his neck.

"Mm, you have no idea. After that first kiss, I was hooked," he purred, waiting until she pulled back so he could kiss down her neck, to her shoulder.

"That's the Addy Effect," she said, nibbling on a piece of toast as Roger nipped at her neck. She closed her eyes as a soft sigh left her lips, the feeling of his warm hands on her abdomen relaxing her body. She set her toast back onto the plate before tilting her head, giving him more access to her skin.

"What's the matter? Not hungry anymore?" he whispered, brushing his thumb over her navel.

"My god, you're evil," she whispered, running her fingers through his hair as he pressed kisses along her shoulder. She heard him chuckle as he playfully nipped at her shoulder, then moved the breakfast tray so it wouldn't fall. Roger set the plates and the glass of juice over on the dresser, then climbed back into bed, hovering over Adeline with a small smirk.

"I'll show you how evil I can really be," he whispered before ducking his head back down, kissing from the bottom of her ear to the base of her neck, over her collarbone and on the hollow of her throat.

"Mm... Rog," she hummed, her fingers carding through his hair, "wait, what time is it?"

"Time for you to just relax and let me take care of you."

"I'm being serious, Rog."

"So am I."

Adeline rolled her eyes and tilted her head to look at her clock. The face read nine, and she carefully moved her hand to the radio.

"Mm, what're you doing?" Roger asked before kissing the top of her breasts.

"Turning on the radio. I always listen to Kenny Everett," she said, fiddling with the dial until she found the station.

"Finished?" he asked, cupping her face with one hand.

"Mhm."

"Good. Now, where were we?" Roger kissed along her chest, his fingers going to slide her bra straps down her arms. He pressed a few more kisses to the newly exposed skin, groaning quietly when he felt her fingers in his hair. He leaned into her touch as his fingers fumbled with her new front hook bra while she laughed. She set her hands over his and smiled up at him, but then watched as his eyes widened.

"Do you hear that?" he asked her softly.

"No, what?"

"Shh."

They both fell silent, and from the radio came Freddie's voice.

"Mama, just killed a man. Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead."

Roger and Adeline looked at each other, and identical grins lit up their faces. Adeline let go of his hands and cupped his face, pressing her lips to his as he gripped her wrists. They pulled back from one another as Bohemian Rhapsody continued in the background, but Roger shrugged his shoulders and pressed another kiss to her lips. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her up, her bra falling from her body as she laughed. He held her close to him, hiding his face against her neck as his high note came from the radio. Adeline wrapped her arms around him as he nuzzled her, then lifted his head up to peek at her.

"I love you," she said softly, running her fingers through his hair.

"Wow, you never say it first," he teased, "but I love you, too." As the song began to slow down, Roger kissed her again, but this time, it was slow. He held her against him so their bare chests touched, and he tangled his fingers in her hair.

"Nothing really matters, anyone can see. Nothing really matters. Nothing really matters to me." As the song finished, and the familiar gong crash reverberated through the room, Roger pulled away from Adeline and set his forehead against hers. She cupped his face gently, keeping her eyes shut.

"I'm so proud of you, Roger," she whispered, brushing her thumbs over his cheeks, "I'm proud of all of you."

"God, I love you so much," he murmured, tilting his head to kiss the palm of her hand.

"I love you, too," she whispered, "now, where were we?"

Adeline stood up in the rafters with Mary, Miami, and Paul. Below them, each member of Queen was playing and performing their hearts out. Adeline's favorite part of Bohemian Rhapsody was even better live, and with a warm smile on her face, she watched Brian and Deacy play beside one another, almost back to back. And as an added bonus, Brian was in her favorite shirt of his, the white one with the billowing sleeves. Then her eyes flitted to Roger, who was in yet another shoes, pants, and shirtless jacket look, with it was silky and golden this time around. Her eyes followed Freddie as he tossed his jacket into the crowd, leaving him in a harlequin esque bodysuit, and walked to the piano.

"Nothing really matters, anyone can see. Nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me," Freddie sang, and Adeline straightened as Roger rose from his drum kit. Her face was bathed in blue light, as was Roger's body, as he brought the mallet against the gong. Cheers erupted from the crowd as the lights went out, and Adeline cheered along with them, clapping her hands and jumping up and down. As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she watched her boys exit the stage, and Miami, with a hand between her shoulders, carefully guided her down the stairs. She, along with him, Paul, and Mary, all walked backstage as well, and Adeline was quick to break off from the group to run to Roger, who had his arms open for her. She jumped into them, wrapping her legs around his waist before kissing him firmly. He groaned against her lips as she cupped his face, and when they pulled away, they both grinned.

"You were all fantastic tonight," she said, tucking her hair back with one hand.

"Please don't congratulate us all like that, dear," Freddie teased, making her laugh.

"You know I wouldn't. Cece and Veronica would kill me if I kissed Brian or Deacy like that." Adeline laughed and kissed Roger's cheek before he set her down, keeping one arm around her waist.

"And you'd break my heart, Addy," Roger murmured, resting his cheek on the top of her head.

"Which is why I'd never," she whispered back. She felt his cheek pull up in a smile, and she gave his stomach a gentle pat.

"So, where're we off to next?"
