Annie walked out of the dance. she walked across the street to a diner. Ordering a strawberry milkshake and a small casket of fries.

Once she was done, she paid for it, then called a Lyft home. She snuck through the back, and headed to her room. Hayley was asleep and her parents were most likely reading the Bible in their room.

Annie showered, then put on her jammies. She ignored her phone, and read the Bible for a bit and went to sleep.

The next morning, it was Saturday so her dad went to work and her mom went to her book club. "I didn't see you come home." Hayley said to her sister.

"I was tired and came home earlier." Annie lied.

"Liar! Lauren texted me last night asking if you made it home. I said yes, since I checked your door and the light was on." Hayley said, then bit into her Nutella sandwich.

"Eat this. You need some nutrition in your life." Annie said, handing a bowl of apples and carrots.

"Come on! You know I hate baby carrots!" Hayley yelled as Annie walked to their living room.

"Exactly why I cut up a regular carrot!" Annie yelled back, then Hayley took out the carrots.
