normal pov (8 years and 5 months later)
rubbing her stomach, her beautiful gold ring with one large diamond glistened in the sun light. "amen," father finalized.
"amen," annie looked up, and took the hand of her husband. of course, like every cheesy story, it was hayden.
"you ok babe?" hayden asked.
"i'm fine. she's just kicking a bit." annie replied, then their twins ran up to them.
"mommy! daddy!" they both cheered.
"what did we say? we're in a church aren't we not?" annie have them the parent stare.
"sorry." they both said.
annie and hayden had the twins when they were 19, so caught up in love, pregnancy wasn't in their mind. they just reunited after years apart. now they live in texas in a 4 bedroom house on a farm with their two kids and one on the way.
driving home, they all stopped by Target to pick up some groceries. "oh! papa, can we get ice cream?" katlyn asked, her beautiful hazel eyes with long and wavy chestnut hair.
"ooh, yes! let's get two!" hayden said, opening the large freezer and then grabbed one pint of cookie dough and another of rocky road.
"ooooh! get one chunky monkey!" annie cheered as she rubbed her belly. she was now 6 and 3 weeks along.
"momma? can we get gummy snacks?" tyler asked his mom.
"not today honey. we still have fruit roll ups from last time. but next time ok?" he nodded, then annie ran her fingers through his hair as his sister and dad put the ice creams inside the cart.
"ok! let's go get some crackers for the stew tonight!" hayden said, putting katlyn into the cart as annie did so with tyler.
the family proceeded and then once they left target they drove home. it was barley 3 so everyone helped out with ten groceries. the family then went out to the barn where they did their normal chores.
if you're wondering about hayley, well her and annie had a fallout a few weeks after they ran away. hayley left and went back to their parents, leaving annie with barley any money after taking all of it back and just a key into mads' aunts' house. they haven't spoken since.
"katlyn! tyler! come on! the eggs won't get themselves!" annie yelled, then her twins ran up to her with their baskets.
"we're ready!" they cheered, making annie smile, then the bell rang.
"go ahead, mommy will be there soon!" annie yelled, then went to the door.
opening the door, she saw an unfamiliar woman there. until she looked at her eyes. "hey annie."
"hayley?"
