after school we went to the locker rooms city had soccer practice and i was helping out with the boys " so your captain and coach " " uh huh " " damn " " at first i thought i was in trouble i mean i was telling them what to do like i was a coach " " you watch too much football games " " hey my brother plays football too " she chuckled " cmon lets go "

when i reached the football field all the boys were looking at me. i didnt see coach yet so i looked at them " well what are you standing there for stretch and give me four laps "
we did a few warm ups that i usually do before i go on a run in the morning on weekends then ran four laps and ofcourse i ran with them but they couldnt keep up " cmon ladies keep up " james screamed " what does running like track stars have to do with football " " do you want to run fast enough so the other team doesnt get or you or do you want to outrun them " they pushed harder until we reached the fourth lap and this time coach was standing there smiling " hey coach i thought wed start with some warm ups " he nodded " hey winchester " he called out my brother " yea coach " " you know if you told me your sister was that good we couldve been winning a lot more easier " " well i didnt think it was that important " " well with her athleticism skills and knowledge we could go to the championships " the whole team agreed and i laughed
" alright wide receivers and line backers with me " they walked up to me and i pulled out a timer " alright jake youre up first lets see how long it takes you from here to the 50 yard line " he nodded i blew the whistle and timed him " 1 minute and 20 seconds you keep that in mind and your goal is to run faster meaning less then a minute because it would take you 2 minutes and 40 seconds to run the whole field you need to run faster then a minute and faster then 2 minutes got it " he nodded " give me 2 laps around the field " and he started to run and i did the same for the others. when they were done i told them they could take a break then decided i would join " zach can i play for a bit " he looked unsure " are you sure " i nodded " alright team zoe's gonna play this one " they all looked at me and i looked at jake " you ready for another run " he chuckled " when am i not " " touche "
we got on the field and i took zach's place as a qb and we started our play and i played just like my brother does if not then better they all looked at me shocked even the coach " jake switch " i became the receiver and my brother got back on the field and no one could catch me or intercept the throws because they would fall right in my hands.
when practice was over coach told us to gather around " alright well from what i can see zoe and zach together are unstoppable when playing i have a proposition " we all looked at him " zoe will be a backup wide receiver and qb " i was shocked " wait but thats 4 positions at the same time " i said looking at him and he looked at me " is that a problem " " i mean its not but 4 positions is alot at once coach " " shouldnt be hard if you did all 4 today " james said and the team agreed i looked at zach and he shrugged " i mean itll be like old times when we played together " " shocker i thought youd object to all 4 " " zoe with your help we could go to the championships " jake said and i sigh " can i think about it and give you an answer tomorrow at practice " coach nodded " fair enough " he looked at all of us " alright dismissed "
when we got home mom looked at me then looked at zach " so you guys are good now " mom asked and we nodded " zoe why are you wearing sport clothes " dad asked looking at me " well you see - " " she was helping out with the team during practice because coach let her be our second coach and captain since im captain and when they saw us play during practice games her as qb then both of us playing together me being qb and her being wide receiver and asked her if she could play all 4 positions as an coach captain backup qb and backup wide receiver " zach said interrupting me and dad looked shocked and mom looked proud " you said yes right " she asked and i shook my head " i said ill think about it " dad looked at me then my brother then me then sigh " might as well have twin boys " i looked at him in shock " wait what " " i said might as well have had twin boys i mean what happened to being daddy's little girl " i chuckled " i still am dad " i walked up to him but he stopped me " nuh uh go upstairs take a shower cause you smell like sweat and are sweaty then you can come hug me " i laughed and walked upstairs with zach following me.
