"MAYBE THIS isn't the right time to do this but..." Miss. Jung spoke and I twisted my head around to face her.

In her hand was a small portable recorder. Its plain black appearance drew me in but what fascinated me the most was the marking on the side of it.

A crescent.

"Hoseok wanted to give this to you later but.." she stalled. "I think now's the right time."

I took it from her hands. It was heavier than I thought. I stood up and started walking towards the balcony where no one was in sight. I stood by the edge and my hand gripped the recorder while the other gripped onto the railing for some support. The thought of hearing Hoseok's voice again made me feel both happy and scared simultaneously.

My phone started to ring, startling me. I looked at the screen and gulped.

Mom.

I was very familiar with the consequences I was gonna get if I didn't answer the phone immediately but I don't know what took over me, before I could process what I was doing...

I pressed end.
