You were on a trip with your school to Barcelona. So far, they had taken you to the Gaudí House Museum, the Las Ramblas, and the Maremagnum. Now, you were on your way to a special arena for school trips.

On your way in, you saw students from all over the world: America, England, France, Germany, even Japan, and many other countries. You, being your weeaboo self, tried to tune in on the Japanese students' conversation, but to no avail, since you only understood the bare minimum.

While the gears in your brain were turning to attempt translating the few words you knew, one of the students you were listening to noticed you - after all, you were staring directly at them while zoning out. He was a tall, pale, blonde boy, with startling golden-brown eyes. He said something which you couldn't pick up on to his friend while pointing at you; then, he moved to block ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) your view of the shorter, black-haired, freckled boy.

After realising that you probably looked like a creep, you were about to head over to the two boys and try to explain that you weren't some pervert. But, luck wasn't on your side, as your friend pulled you along; the teacher was calling the class to gather around.

It turned out the special arena was going to be for a charity event for teenagers' mental health. The concert wasn't going to start for a few hours, so you were told to set up an area for the class on the grass - kind of like a picnic. After going through with the physical abuse, you got dragged along to meet other students from other schools who were invited to the event. You went around and met people from all around the globe, and of course, the last school you met was the Japanese one - Karasuno; you decided to take that opportunity to explain yourself to the duo you creeped out earlier.

When you got closer and started introducing yourself in broken Japanese, the taller of the two boys tried to grab the other and move away. However, the black-haired boy said something along the lines of "Tsu-key, stop it, be nice..."

"Hi, I'm Tadashi Yamaguchi and this is Kei Tsukishima, but you can call him Tsukki," the boy said in perfect English - it made you feel ashamed of your linguistic skills.

"Hey! No, she can't!" The blonde cut in, in Japanese, while glaring at you.

"Tsukki, calm down," Yamaguchi patted Tsukki's arm. "Sorry, he's being rude," he said apologetically, turning to you.

"Ah, hello, as I was saying, I'm (Y/N) (L/N). Sorry for staring at you two earlier, I was deep in thought and didn't notice," you started explaining when Tsukki interrupted you with a snarky remark.

"Pfft, you? Deep thought? Yeah, right, didn't think it could happen," he smirked.

"You just met me, what do you know?" You sighed, agitated, but nevertheless continued. "Anyway, I promise I'm not some kind of weirdo. Actually, that's a lie, I'm a bit of a nerd and otaku. Wait, people in Japan don't like otakus, right? I'm sorry, please don't hate me." You stopped suddenly, realising you were saying your entire train of thought out loud. "I'm blabbing again, aren't I?"

Yamaguchi sweat-dropped and laughed, which made you feel slightly relieved. Tsukki, on the other hand, visibly judged you as he looked you up and down, clearly suspicious of you.

"That explains it," Yamaguchi said. "Well, don't worry about it. I wasn't worried anyway, Tsukki was just being overdramatic as usual. It's not like Japan is the safest place in the world and quite frankly I don't see you as a dangerous person."

"Yeah, you wouldn't be able to hurt a fly," Tsukki snickered; clearly he only wanted to jump into the conversation if it meant insulting you.

And that's pretty much how it went for the next couple of hours since you decided to go around with the two. It was mainly you and Yamaguchi who chatted, so you found out a lot of stuff about him and Tsukki whether the blonde liked it or not. Halfway through your walk or whatever it is, you sensed Tsukki get annoyed since he stopped talking completely, even when you tripped and humiliated yourself. Right when the concert was about to start, Yamaguchi decided to go get some food. You had already told your teacher that you were going to stay with the duo for the rest of the day, so that left you and Tsukki alone, so you thought it was a good opportunity to ask him about being so quiet.
