I quietly walked behind Cesar as we both walked into his house, he opened the door  and walked inside before letting me in

He closed the door behind me as I looked around at the lightly decorated cozy home

"Okay" he sighed

"Are you hungry?" He asked walking into the kitchen while I followed

"Um yeah, but do you think I could take a bath or something?" I asked

"Uh Yeah Sure" he says closing the refrigerator and I followed him as he opened a door into a room which I'm assuming is his

I stood in the doorway while he grabbed a T-shirt and shorts from his dresser, he gave it to me including a towel and a rag

He went and into the bathroom and I slowly followed behind him

He turned on the shower for me before looking towards me "Okay, um when your done just come into my room" he says leaving the bathroom and closing the door behind him

I set the clothes and stuff on the toilet and locked the door, after living on the street for some years you'll learn to get paranoid

I take off my dirty worn out clothes and jumped in the shower, I sighed as the warm water hits my short hair and runs down my face

I washed up and when I was finished, I turned off the water dried off, i put on the clothes Cesar gave me and before walked out I stared myself in the mirror

I sighed before grabbing all my stuff in my hand, I unlocked the door and walked out the bathroom, and into his room

Right now I'm sitting Cesar's bed, eating food he made for me which I'm pretty it's just leftovers but I ain't complaining

While he was making a pallet on the floor, I just finished the last bite of the food as Cesar grabs pillows before sitting on the pallet

"Your being really nice, for giving me food and allowing to shower, but i can take the pallet you can have your bed" I say

"It's just for a night, and I don't mind" he says

"Thanks Cesar" I say

"No problem" he says

I lay down on his bed and pulled up the covers. Cesar got up and turned off the lights before laying back down on the pallet

"Night Jo" he says

"Night Cesar" I say

Ik it's a little awkward but I'm out of my writing zone rn lol
