𝖎𝖙'𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖓𝖊𝖝𝖙 day and I was worried when I got home yesterday that Oscar would be mad since I got home late but he wasn't even here. I stayed up til midnight that's when he got back and we spent the rest of the night together since we haven't seen each all day
Right now I'm snuggled up next to Oscar, we're both awake but neither do us want to move from our current position in bed it was quiet until I spoke up, "I've missed you" I say
"I'm right here— I haven't gone anywhere" he says
"I know— it's just we've both been super busy lately— it feels like we never have time for each other" I say
"I always have time for you" he says, I looked at him as I smiled for giving him a kiss, he kisses my forehead before sitting up "but we do have to get out of bed" he says standing up out of the bed
"why?" I whined, "i was kinda hoping we could have an us-day" I say standing on my knees while still in bed with the sheet covering my chest
"i actually have to do something today" he says putting on a t shirt as I rolled my eyes, "this is what I meant when I said, we never have time for each other— though it's mainly you" I say
"I know but I can't miss it" he says
"I know— and I'll be here waiting for you to come back— which would probably be all day" I say
"you know mario is having a baby shower today— you can go over there while i take care of my business" he suggested
"really?— that's a very family excluded type of event— I wouldn't wanna intrude or anything" i say
"i don't want you to be here all bored— plus i don't think mario would mind if you showed up" he says
"okay— I guess I'll go" I say
He leans over and gives me a kiss before turning around "get dress" he says leaving to the room, I got up and starts looking around the room "Oscar! where'd you throw my bra?" I asked
"I don't know" he says
"you don't— on my god!" I groaned

I showered, brushed my teeth, washed my face and styled my hair into cornrows before getting dressed.

Oscar dropped me off at Ruby's house, I walked up to the house as he drives away, I knock on the door and waited a couple seconds until the door opened, to reveal a girl I've never seen before, she smiled before letting me inside
I walk inside the rather packed house as the girl closed the door behind me, I squeezed passed some people to get to the dining room where I see Cesar and Monse, Cesar eyes widen when he saw me, I didn't get a chance to say hello to him before he immediately engulfed me into a hug
"Hi Cesar" I say hugging him back, he pulled away from our hug "What are you doing here?" He asked
"what? your not happy to see me?" I asked, "no no— I am— I really am it's just I wasn't expecting you to be here" he says
"well here i am— who are all these people?" I asked, "we don't know— ruby did the guest list" Monse spoke up
"oh" I say, "hi Monse" I say giving her a hug as well "Hey" she says
Cesar, Monse and I continued to talk when ruby caught our attention "These freeloaders!" Ruby says making all three of us look up at him, "Yeah! Come here" he says making Cesar and Monse put down their plates as we walked to him
"Help Mario" he says
"And use this. If it's ever done" he says giving Cesar a big bow,
"Go" he dismisses them
Mario, Cesar and Monse walks away as ruby faces me "hey jo— you can help them as well" he says, "but I'm here as a guest" I say , "actually, you weren't on the guest list at all— so I'm hiring you as a staff— so go help them" he showed me away
I scoffed before turning and walking into the room where they were at, I closed the door behind me before walking further in the room, Monse sat on the bed as she read the instructions while Cesar and Mario stood nearby holding a piece of whatever they're building ," What's this suppose to be?" I asked, "a crib" Mario responded
A couple minutes later the door opened to reveal Jasmine "Hey! Checking in. Do you guys want any snacks or beverages?" She asked
"Lemonade" I say
"Uh, Vodka" Mario said
"Red Bull" Cesar says
"A Coke, please?" Monse says
"Psyche! No refreshments till you're finished" Jasmine says before smacking her behind and leaving the room and closing the door behind her "These directions seem pretty straightforward. What's the problem?" Monse spoke up
"I cheated on Amber...with Angelica— And I feel bad because I don't feel bad. I still love Angelica. Should I tell Amber?" Mario asked
"Yes" I say
"No" Monse says
"No?" Cesar, Mario and I asked in unison
"Do you plan to stay with Amber?" Monse asked standing up
"Yeah! She's having my kid—I'm not gonna leave my kid" Mario says
"Then you can't tell her" Monse says
"What if she finds out?" Cesar asked
"What if she doesn't?" Monse asked
"Isn't it better to come clean than get caught in a cover-up?" I asked
"No. Coming clean is just about him clearing his conscious, Telling her will hurt her And a small indiscretion, if it's just that, will grow into a cavern of distress. Plus, he needs to live with the fact that he's a shitty person" Monse explains
"I am a shitty person" Mario said
"Yup" Monse says
"Good talk—I'm gonna go put my head in the toilet" Mario says setting down what he was holding before leaving the room
"Porta potty. Toilet's for staff" Monse says
"Do you really believe what you said?" Cesar asked
"What part?" Monse asked, "That Mario is a shitty person" Cesar asked
"Yeah" Monse says
"Oh—I mean, maybe coming clean will make the relationship stronger" Cesar says as Monse makes a face towards him, "What does that mean?" He asked
"You should know" she responded, and at that moment I felt this conversation become a little personal "I'm gonna go get some lemonade" I say before leaving the room and closing the door behind me
