𝖑𝖆𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖉𝖆𝖞 it had definitely cooled down- but I stayed inside. I'm trying to gather my thoughts after- what happened- that kiss was completely unexpected and not to mention I'm literally bored out of my mind—. I need to find a distraction not only to have some type of fun- but also I won't think about spooky.

—I know- I'll talk to Cesar, I don't think he's busy. I went into his room but he was there- which I find a little weird, so I walked into the living but he wasn't there either, I walked into the kitchen only to find Spooky eating

I sighed "hey- have you seen Cesar?" I asked

"He's out" he says

"Great" I mumbled as I turned around to walk away but I stopped myself and turned back around to face Spooky's back "Hey Spooky" I say

"Oscar" he says

"What?" I questioned

"Call me Oscar" he says turning around to face me

"Okay- Oscar um- i guess I'll just come right out and say it" I say

"What was with that kiss?- because it literally came from nowhere" I say

"I thought it was obvious" he smirked as he turned back around to eat his food

"What was?" I questioned

"I like you" he says

"why?" I asked

"The way you handle that guy from earlier—it was hot- and the girls I know wouldn't have handled it that way- I certainly wasn't expecting it," he says

"I guess fuck the butterflies" I shrugged

"I like to be straight forward," he says smirking

"Look Oscar—" I start but was cut off when his phone starting ringing "one moment," he says before answering his phone "hello?"

"where?"

"Alright"

and with that he hangs up on that phone call before he started to dial another, he waited as the phone ringed but nothing happened he sighed frustratedly "everything's okay?" I asked as he calls the number again only not to get a response "it's Cesar- he ain't answering" he says

"maybe he's with his friends" I say

"maybe- let's go" he says grabbing my hand as we walked towards the door

𝖜𝖊 𝖌𝖔𝖙 𝖎𝖓 𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖈𝖆𝖗 and drove around the neighborhood before stopping at the Martinez household "why are we here?" I asked looking at Oscar "no time for question- hurry and get out" he says as got out the car, I did what he said and got out the car

I followed him as he walked up to the door, it opened to reveal Jamal with an eyepatch on, he gasped loudly when he saw it was Oscar and immediately shut the door, Oscar sighed frustratedly before the door was reopened "someone shot one of the homies- have you seen Cesar? he ain't answering his phone" Oscar says

"his phone ain't working" Jamal shook his head

"not that anyone broke it or anything- just died- from natural causes" Jamal stuttered

"if you see him, tell him I'm looking for him" Oscar says

"yes sir" Jamal says as Oscar turns around, the door closes and we start walking back towards the car "what's going on?- is Cesar going to be okay?" I asked
