A young, sweet couple were in the kitchen of the grand, majestic Oberoi Mansion. The boy raised a glass of water to the girls mouth whilst sharing a cute eye lock. At that moment, a smartly dressed man walked inside and called out. He was no other than the Shivaay Singh Oberoi
Shivaay: Gauri
Gauri: bade bhaaiya
The girl got of the kitchen slab and ran to Shivaay. She hugged him tightly
Shivaay: you should have told me you were coming
Gauri: mene bhi todi dher pele decide kiya ki mein aari
Shivaay: aur tu Om
Om: haa
He walks over to them
Om: saari raat kaha the aap
Shivaay: kuch kaam tha so I was little delayed. I stayed at the farmhouse for the night though
Om: acha Shivaay hum dono ne kuch decide kiya
Shivaay: bolo
Gauri: we both wanna get married
Shivaay: that's great news
He hugged them both
Shivaay: vese Gauri tumhare parents ne kya kaha?
Gauri's face became slightly tense
Gauri: mere step-dad aara hai ek hafte mein
Shivaay: okay
At that moment, a boy younger to the two brothers came running in. He rushed around the kitchen soon to be followed by a girl.
Shivaay: hey you two slow down
They ignored Shivaay completely and continued chasing each other
Om: kya hua Rudra?
Rudra: yeh ladki mujhe chodne ke liye tiyaar ki nahi hai
Gauri: kya kiya tune Bhavya?
Bhavya: yeh duffer ne mere saare kapre pack kiya suitcase mein
Shivaay: kyu?
Om: pele ek doosre ke peeche bhaghna band kar
Rudra hid innocently behind Shivaay while Gauri held Bhavya back
Om: acha tune iske kapre kyu pack kiya?
Shivaay: I need an explanation
Rudra: mujhe Bhavya ke saath course per jaana hai
Bhavya: kidnap karke?
Rudra: nahi.....
Shivaay: jaldi aana padega
Bhavya: kyu?
Shivaay: Om poori family ko batayga
Gauri: kab?
Shivaay: abhi
He turned to his youngest brother who was secretly still hiding behind him
Shivaay: Rudy jaake sab ko bulao hall mein
Rudra: haa
Rudra ran off before anyone else said another word to him
Bhavya: Om kya baat hai?
Shivaay: arrey chaalo
Gauri: chaalte
They all go and meet the elders of the family. Kalyani Singh Oberoi is the first to enquire
Dadi: billu, kya hua
Om and Rudra's Father, Tej, stands with his mother
Tej: haa kya hua
Om: actually mein aur Gauri.....
The words wouldn't come out of his mouth and he was slightly frightened as to how the elders of the house would react. Seeing him struggling, Gauri began to talk
Gauri: we decided to get married
Shakti: itni jaldi?
Jhanvi: I think it's a good idea
Pinky: tum dono perfects hai ek doosre ke liye
Dadi: Tej tu kyu chup ho gaya
Om had thought his father didn't approve of the idea so he started to blabber random sentences in protest.
Om: Dad aap mante kyu nahi? Sab log ke iss shaadi se kohi problem nahi hai toh aapko kya hua? Dekho agar aapne haa nahi bola toh mein Gauri ke saath bhaag ke shaadi kar lunga
He goes and interlocks his hand with Gauri's as she signs him to stop. His voice slowly trails off and the Tej speaks up
Tej: aab bolne de?
Om looks up at his father
Tej: I totally approve of the wedding. Aab pandit kab ayega?
Om runs to his dad and hugs him. The family congratulate the new couple
Dadi: Shivaay kuch Om se seekhle
Pinky: haa. Tu toh sirf 2-3 saal bade hai Om se, lekin shayad Rudra ke Babies hoge before you get a girlfriend
Shakti: voh baat toh sahi hai
Shivaay: come on yaar
Jhanvi: shaadi ke preparations kaun karenge?
Shivaay: leave that to me. Mein ek wedding planner arrange karunga, after you decide ki shaadi kab hoga
Gauri: thank you bade bhaaiya
Om: thanks Shivaay
Pinky: mein pandit ji ko bulati
After few hours, the family was seated as the priest came to select a date for the wedding
Pandit: doh mahine mein ek acha din hai shaadi je liye
Jhanvi: haa yeh theek hai
Shivaay: abhi se mein wedding planner dhoond tha. Engagement kab hoga?
Dadi: pandit ji hum sagai kab kar sakte?
Pandit: ek hafte mein sagai ho sakta
Pinky: toh it's settles
Shakti: beta tumhare step-dad ko pata hai?
Gauri: Unfortunately he can't make it for the engagement
Dadi: oh kohi baat nahi puttar tu fikhar maat kar
Jhanvi: tumhari kohi bhen hai yaar bhai? I'm sure Harsh (Gauri's father) had another child tumse kuch saal badi?
Gauri: voh....
Om: baate baad mein, pehle hume aashirwad di jiye
Coming to her rescue, Om diverted the conversation and got everyone involved in the preparations.
