Chapter 4 - Search For Wedding Planner

A week later, a colleague of Anika's came to her small cabin and knocked

Anika: Rishti?

Rishti: Anika ma'am, Shivaay Sir is summoning you with files for afternoon meeting

Anika: okay I will go

She collects the three files and gets up. Taking slow cautious steps to the door of Shivaay's office, she reached and knocked at the door.

Shivaay: come in

Anika entered and saw Shivaay engrossed in a phone call. She took a seat at the chair in front of his desk and patiently waited for him to finish his work. She suddenly looked up when she heard his shout

Shivaay: what do you mean no catering? This is a wedding planning business that doesn't provide food? No definitely no

He hung the call and looked down to Anika

Shivaay: files

Anika: lijiye Sir

She handed over the files as she stood up

Anika: Sir sorry lekin mene suna tha ki aap ek wedding planner ko dhoondre hai, am I right?

Shivaay: yeah. Actually my brother is having his engagement in next 3 days

Anika: Sir if you do not find anyone then I am here. Mene 2 saal ke liye event management kiya, kam se kam 30-40 shaadi's included

Shivaay: I was searching everywhere when the solution was right here. Yes Anika.

Anika: Thank you Sir

Anika went toward the exit and opened the door when Shivaay called her

Anika: yes Sir?

Shivaay: thank you

Anika: anytime

Shivaay: kal Ghaar aaja, hum vaha discuss karenge

Anika: okay Sir

She gave a lovely smile and returned to her other files and works which were pending.
Shivaay on the other hand became quite excited. Having Anika as the wedding planner meant she would be present at his own house. He didn't understand what it is about her, just the first time he saw Anika, Shivaay felt drawn to her. That night when they were together in the penthouse, he couldn't Stop thinking of her. Not only was she perfect in appearance, but she had a sweet voice and was well mannered . Every time Shivaay looked in her eyes, he felt as if there is a deep, hidden secret about her. Simply the fear on her face when they both saw each other for the first times was enough for him to figure this out. Shivaay shook his head. Why was he thinking about her? Glancing at the time, Shivaay got up and walked to the conference room in order to prepare for the meeting he had.
