(I'm gonna start writing from 3rd POV to make it less cringy lmao)

Five was angry which made Rae frightened, she thinks he might lash out on her at any moment.

The elevator door rang— signalling they were arriving at the first floor. Five abruptly walked out of the elevator, not minding Rae was trying to follow his fast tracks. Five was devastated to say the least. After waiting for 45 years to know who was responsible for the apocalypse, who was responsible for his misfortune, he finally would know.

Rae was worried about what he's getting into. Everything seemed surreal for her. In just a span of 24 hours she met 2 of the Umbrella Academy siblings, got teleported to a hospital, and worst of all; she saw men get shot and killed in action.

"Five, where are we going?" She asked the sullen looking boy who she assumes is deviating a plan.

"Go to my house."

Rae stopped on her tracks not fully believing his statement. For years she wanted to get inside the mansion. She wanted to know what secrets she could uncover from the family, although she knows it's wrong to invade someone's privacy she really wanted to be like them, but that dream died down years ago.

Five noticed Rae blanking out, he groaned and walked over to her.

"What's wrong? We don't have any time for your drama kid. Hurry up." Five rolled his eyes and grabbed her hand to teleport to the Academy, which wasn't so far.

"We could've walked," Rae stated, holding the fences for support while her head ached.

"I don't like to spend so much time walking with you when the world is at stake," Five grumbled. He walked inside the enormous mansion. Rae stared wide eyed, quickly following Five.

"So, where are your other siblings? Can I meet them?"

"We don't have time for chit-chat. Besides you don't want to meet my disfunctional family, although you can probably meet one of them," Five inquired, walking into the living room. What caught Rae's attention was the huge painting on the fireplace, it was Five.

"Why do you have a huge painting of yourself in here," Rae questioned the boy.

"I believe that's none of your concern," He replied, signalling for her to follow him upstairs. Rae sighed at his cockiness and followed the boy.

Five silently made his way to his old room— shocked how nothing has changed. It remained untouched. Rae watched him with her eyes filled with curiousity, not understanding his melancholy but for once didn't speak.

"Why aren't you so giddy?" Five asked after a minute of pure silence.

"This all feels surreal, and besides I shouldn't pry on you and your siblings' private life. I'm sorry," Rae sympathetically apologized. Five hated the pity look on her face. He never wanted people to see his weakness and treats him like he's still the kid from 45 years ago.

"You don't need to apologize," Five walked to his window, gazing at nothing in particular.

"There you are!" Vanya exclaimed in relief after she saw Five,

Rae decided to get out for a while so they could talk privately. She waited outside, patiently waiting for Vanya to leave. After a while, she saw Vanya walking out. They both bid their goodbyes.

Rae heard the crashing of things. She was worried for Five so she quickly went into the bedroom, surprised to see a drunk man wearing a goofy outfit.

Five saw her confused glances, "He's Klaus, my annoying and drug addict of a brother," He sighed

"Love you too, bro," Klaus replied at his insult while Rae chuckled quietly at the banter of the two.

"Hi, I'm Rae Jasmine and unfortunately I'm pretty normal," She introduced herself and shook hands with the drunk Hargreeves. "Isn't that a good thing though?" Klaus replied cheekily at the girl.

"Not really, nothing exciting happens. In fact this has been the most exciting span of 24 hours of my life," She stated meekly, Klaus chuckled at her optimistic behavior, "I like this one," Klaus said to Five while pointing at the girl.

"You like her now..." Five grumbled, knowing just how annoying Rae Jasmine can be when she wants to be.

"Oh, shut up Grandpa," Rae retorted while Klaus smiled at the two, entertained by their quarrel.

"Now come on," Five sighed. giving away to Rae Jasmine knowing she's as stubborn as a mule.

"So am I gonna get paid to do this?" Klaus asked after they exited the room.

"After the job is done," Five continued. Rae Jasmine was confused on how Five has money to pay for the drugs that Klaus mentioned before they left the room.

"So what's our backstory?"

"What do you mean?" Rae asked confused about the 'plan'.

"You know, was I really young and terribly misguided when I had the both of you? And your mother, that slut," Rae chuckled at Klaus' backstory to which he continued, "We met at the.. club! Remember that," Rae nodded at him with a cheeky grin.

"Oh my God the sex was—" which earned Klaus a smack of the head from Five, "What a filthy place you call a brain," Five retorted whilst walking down. (Y/N I know this isn't their exact dialogue because I'm too lazy to memorize it lmao.)

Rae followed them, carefully observing Klaus' banter and Five's sullen look whenever Klaus decided to speak. The three went inside a van which Five claimed was his and said he didn't stole, even if the two knew he did.

"So, Where are we exactly going now?" Rae leaned forward to see where Five was going to. Klaus mumbled hospital which gave Rae a frightened look. She was already embarrassed enough the first time around. She was fully convinced that Five really wants to go to jail, although it is quite impossible considering they're not legally allowed in jail.

Rae was quiet on the ride there. She's positive their plan and backstory wouldn't work, even if Klaus looks so convincing with his formal suit.

The car halted on the parking lot of the hospital. Rae gulped and opened her car door, accepting her doom of being banned in a hospital.

HEYYO! Thank you to the 56 ppl who have read my story. I really didn't expect it to reach 50 because we all know how hard it is to gain reads and votes on wattpad, especially when my story's plot sucks and Rae Jasmine is an overdramatic character, but I promise there's a reason for her behavior, also character development will be observed on this book, so don't worry if Rae and Five doesn't have the chemistry yet, love takes time y'all.
