"Five more minutes."

~●~

Rae Jasmine groaned, she didn't expect to be saving the world with this state of mind, she was tired and her eyes were darkening because of the stress. Five on the other hand grimaces at the sight, he stood up and motioned for her to follow him.

"Wait, do you have any other spare clothes? My jumper is kinda dirty.." Rae trailed of, she was a clean freak and she didn't want to go out with this outfit.

"Ugh, girls." Five grumbled to himself, "We'll try and raid Vanya's closet." He walked to the room next to Klaus'.

Rae stared in awe at the room, it looked so innocent and cute. She noticed it was the smallest room on the hallway, she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, it seemed like the guest rooms were bigger than this.

"The only clothes in here that fits you are uniforms. Turns out we're gonna match." He rolled his eyes and proceeded to throw the clothes on her face.

"Asshat." She mumbled, Five raised his eyebrows at her, unamused.

She walked to the guest room and locked the door, stripping off from her dirty jumper and her shirt, she put on the comfortable uniform, the hem of the skirt wasn't short, it wasn't long either, it was perfect.

She tied her hair into a ponytail, making sure its high and won't fly on her face. She looked so formal, it hurts.

Rae walked out, seemingly shy with the new clothing, she wasn't that fond of uniforms, she thinks it makes you look so bland,

"Finally, you graced us with your presence." Five dramatically spoke up, she rolled her eyes in response, following him outside. He looked so calm and composed, polar opposite to the girl behind him, she always freaks out at very immature stuff.

"Where are we going?" She asked, hoping Five would give her a proper enough answer.

"The hospital." Five grimaced, knowing he was probably banned to even step foot on that hospital, doesn't matter anyways as long as he doesn't get sick until the end of the world.

"Do we have to enter? Everytime I go there bad things seem to happen." She mumbled the latter to herself but Five heard it, he halted and asked, "Like what? Did you get a vaccine and your mom is an anti-vaccine mom?" Five teased.

"Or did you scrap your foot while playing soft ball with your bff's!" Five exaggarated the bff part with a high voice, but he suddenly stopped when he saw Rae didn't say a comeback.

She sniffled quietly, avoiding Five's gaze, his mocking persona was soon replaced with guilt, he retracted his words if one of them meant that offensive to let a girl cry.

"My mom died there." She suddenly spoke up after 5 minutes of awkward silence and Five not knowing how to comfort anyone.

"I- look I'm sorry." He sighed, he never really felt a parent's love before, Reginald was a general bad person while he never really liked Grace, knowing she's not a real person and he doesn't want to get too attached with people. It either ends with him breaking their heart or them breaking his.

"It's fine." She walked swiftly to the hospital, not wanting to hear her frenemy lay sympathy on her, Five quickly strode beside her, glancing at the girl.

"You could rest if you'd like. Me and Dolores could handle it." Five suggested, knowing the awkward tension wasn't doing any good for the both of them.

She nodded and ran off, normally she wouldn't do that, but she wanted to spend some time with Agnes, she knew something bad would happen to her sooner or later, hopefully later.

She took the familiar road, looking at it with melancholy. She wanted to keep her mind off of her mom, she's dead and Rae Jasmine can't do anything about it. It had been 5 years and yet she felt so pathetic because she had never moved on in the span of those years.

Of course, Agnes knew her problems and decided to hire a therapist for the girl, Rae Jasmine wasn't really an open person, so she rarely talks and attends her therapy sessions. She feels guilty for lying to Agnes about it but let's be honest, being stuck in a room with a stranger asking you about your deepest darkest secrets isn't really Rae's comfort zone.

After some mild ranting of Rae's mind she stopped in front of the cozy looking house, she knew Agnes was in the shop but she felt so tired to walk there, so she decided to maybe sleep for a while and hope that this is all some crazy dream.

Although Rae seems fairly convinced that she could never imagine something as creative as this. But she sticked to it to keep her sane.

She took out the key under the mat and unlocked the door, she sighed and walked to the living room, the floorboards creaked on every passing step.

"Wanna greet your old man, Raeya?"

She halted from her steps, only one asshole called her by her full name. She turned around feeling angry and fearful, she hated her father, she hated how he punished her for all the misfortunes his life got him.

She tutned around expecting a guy with a big stomach and a beard that hasn't been cut on a year, but

Her father was sitting on the couch, with a formal suit on that looks like it costs a fortune, then he spoke

"Stay away from Five Hargreeves, Raeya or else I might have to kill you too."

This sucks and all bcs I don't have any inspiration to do anything and school starts next week for me y'all.
