"I- Sure." Al took Asmodeus's hand, steering him out of the room.

Lily hurled herself off Daisy's lap, spilling her eggs everywhere. But before Daisy had a chance to yell, the dog had howled and shot out of the room.

Asmodeus recoiled, staggering back into the mantelpiece. His skin flashed pure black, then shockingly red. He jerked, flailing his limbs, and then collapsed to the floor. His tail shot our, lashing Daisy's mug of tea out of her hands. It shattered on the ground, scalding liquid splashing everywhere.

Asmodeus lunged onto his back, then flopped onto his front, writhing like a fish thrown onto a pier. Al grabbed Daisy's hand, pulling her out of her chair as Asmodeus' sent the coffee table flying with a stray hand. He shoved her behind his body, shielding them both from the demon.

The house shuddered with an explosion, plaster chips falling from the ceiling. Asmodeus screamed, covering his ears. He shot a leg out, kicking an armchair through the long window. Glass spilled through the room as the panel crumpled inwards. Al threw up his hands to protect them, slamming Daisy into the wall and covering her entire body with his.

She saw his blood on her shirt, Asmodeus screamed again, the house tried to rip itself from the ground -

Everything went silent. Al fell to the ground on all fours, his body seeming to glitch like a terrible stop motion film, the carpet turning red. Asmodeus seemed to have been put in flow motion. Sound dulled and muted, fading away to a low roar.

Daisy scratched her ear. Her finger came away bleeding. The two men seemed to darken, as though the sun had gone out. The world faded to black and white and every shade of grey imaginable.

The air was condensing in front of her, shimmering, waiting for something to happen. Something happened.

A woman took form, stepping out of the air. She was taller than Daisy, and there was something about her that suggested infinite age. Her figure was flawless, but grey-blue feathers rolled over her shiny, silver scalp. Horns jutted out of the back of her jaw, winding around to the front and jutting out to form a ledge. The ends were deadly sharp.

She stroked her body, trailing her arms down her hourglass figure. Her long fingers lingered on the front of her hips, pointing inwards. She was wearing a suit, but a suit that was tight and flattering.

Daisy stepped over Al's crumpled form and balled her fists. "Who are you?" She hissed. Pure matter seemed to flow backwards off her, her form glitching and flashing ghosts of her face stepping out of her for a split second. She turned her head, a thousand frames lingering in the air behind her.

"Give me the demon, and I'll leave you alone." She hissed. The corners of her mouth curled up, her feathers bristling.

Daisy didn't move. Her entire body quivered. Asmodeus' jaw was slowly parting in a tortured scream. The female demon flicked her hand at the incubus. A bolt of red flashed through the grey world, striking him. He arched his back. "Stop!" Daisy yelled.

"Release him." The demon tilted her head again. "And I won't punish him when I bring him home."

Daisy shook her head and shivered. Asmodeus' scream was so muffled and so far away she could almost ignore it. But not quite. His pain burned her to the bone. "Let him go!" She shrieked, clenching her fists and leaning into the demon.

"Only if you do." The demon sounded calm, and gentle still. Pristine.

Terrifying.

Her voice shook, her hair rising off her back even though there was no wind. She leant in, so close that she was almost nose to nose with the demon. The woman leant back slightly.

That was all that Daisy needed. She curled her fist. Drew it back. Lightning fast, she threw it into the demon's face. It struck her on the cheek, just above her horn, Daisy punching her with everything she had.

The demon staggered back, shrieking. Her impossibly pale skin broke, dark blood gushing out of her wound.

Their eyes locked, Daisy leant back and smirked. The demon's dark eyes narrowed, full of hate. Then there was a crack, so loud that Daisy's ears exploded with pain, and the demon woman vanished. Colour and sound returned with a roar that made Daisy fall to the ground. She covered her ears, hunched beside Al. Pressure built inside her skull, wind lashed her hair and her clothes, trying to rip her skin off.

It faded with a rush, leaving the world as it should have been. The metallic, sour, taste of blood filled her mouth. Asmodeus curled into a tight ball, whimpering. Al took a shuddering breath.

Daisy stood up.

"What the fuck just happened?"

Asmodeus coughed. "That was Berir. My overseer." He croaked. "She's come to take me back to Hell, even if it kills me."

Al shuddered again. Asmodeus dragged himself across the ground. His spine stuck out of his back and he shook like a leaf, but he took Al's hand. "Are you alright? Did she hurt you?"

Al shook his head and sat up, leaning against the wall. Blood poured down his face from cuts on his cheek. There were two nastier gashes above his left eye, and one across his nose. Daisy looked away.

"I'll go get you some tissues. Should I call an ambulance? I think you might need stitches." She could smell his blood, see it pooling on the floor.

Asmodeus shook his head. He pulled himself up until he sat with his knees touching Al's. The man leant forward, letting Asmodeus cup his cheek in his hand. Asmodeus traced Al's wounds with his fingers, Al wincing.

Blood lifted off the floor, flowing upwards back into Al. The stains trickled upwards until his shirt was clean, pushing at Asmodeus' fingers and leaking back into the human's veins. Asmodeus drew his hand along Al's cuts, brushing a thumb along his split lip, until both of them were clean of his blood.

"Since when did you have healing powers?" Daisy asked. Lilly licked her shin. Daisy squatted to pet her. The adults ignored them both.

Leaning back, Al sighed. Asmodeus rested his head on Al's chest. "Maybe I should just let her take me back to Hell."

Al brushed Asmodeus's horn with a kiss. "No. Never. They'll kill you." He glanced up at Daisy, then down at his husband. "We're going to run, and I'm not going to lose you again. Get in the car."

A/N: What should the ship name for Al and Asmodeus be? Because I love them. They are best boys.
