This wasn't Liam's first full moon, but you couldn't exactly expect anyone to master controlling the wolf completely in a matter of a few months. Especially someone with anger issues.

All the wolves had tried to teach him, including Peter, and all of them failed. Not only was the werewolf seemingly untamable, but so was his human side.

"Perhaps we've been going about this all wrong," Derek said, standing off to the side with his arms crossed.

Everyone was seated in the Hale loft, Liam hanging his head in embarrassment.

"Someone give Sherlock a crumpet for finally figuring it out!" Stiles shouted.

"What?"

"What Stiles meant to say, was that chaining him up and trying to scare him to submission wasn't the best idea," Lydia explained.

"In other words, I'm right. "

"Maybe instead of him using his anger, he should use something else," Lydia continued, ignoring her boyfriend's remark.

Liam's head shot up. "Like what, an anchor?" Scott enquired.

"Sure, let's try to tell an out of control werewolf with anger management issues to calm down. With the knowledge that all his friends are the ones that chained him up. That'll really work," Peter sarcastically chimed from his place on the staircase.

"You can shut up now," Malia growled.

"Wait, so... I just have to think about something that makes me happy?" he asked.

"It's not that simple," Scott elaborated.
"You have to think about something that provokes emotions stronger than anger."

"Yeah, so what makes you happy?"
Isaac questioned.

Liam's expression changed to one of thought, before he answered, "Video games?"

Everyone let out exasperated sighs of annoyance and dramatic eye rolls, and you giggled.

Liam looked at you with puppy eyes, and smiled. Pink dusting both of your cheeks as you both looked away from each other's gazes shyly.

All the wolves sensed the change in chemo signals and Derek smirked. Stiles only sat there with his mouth open.

"Don't wanna catch flies, sweetie," Lydia sang, using her fingertips to push his chin up.

"No. Nah uh. Absolutely not, no way in HELL -"

"Stiles," Derek interrupted.

"No! We are not putting my best friend in front of a blood thirsty wack head with anger issues!! What if she gets hurt? Or worse, dies? "

Liam looked hurt at this, but Derek retaliated, "If we're right then she won't have to."

"That's a big if, Hale. This isn't anyone's life you're playing around with, it's (y/n) 's!"

"We don't have another option. We can't have him going rogue! Do you want another incident like last time?"

"So what, (y/n) must pay the price?"

"There's no garuntee she'll actually be hurt! She's the closest thing he has to an anchor!"

"GUYS!," you shouted over their arguing. "Anyone mind asking me what I think?"

Everyone's heads turned to you. "I think that if I can be of any help, I'll gladly do it. And Liam," she addressed him in a slightly kinder tone. "I have no doubt that you won't lose control. I have full faith in you, okay?"
