Draft Story 3 {Part 3}

Agent 8 completed most of the missions on line A. Pearl and Marina introduced themselves after Captain Cuddlefish called the Agents for assistance. Agent 8 looked out the window while he arrived to the next test. Captain Cuddlefish noticed the young Octoling looking lonely and confused. He felt sorry for the kid. After all he lost all his memories and doesn't know who he really is. The Captain got up and decided to sit next to him. Agent 8 was startled by this.

"I hope Agents 3 and 4 accept you." He said trying to start a conversation. Agent 8 looked down. "They won't like me." He said quietly. "Why do you say that?" Asked the Captain.

"Cause I'm an Octo..." he said.

"Don't say that-"

"I'm sorry I have to go....I'll see you later..." Agent 8 Said as he got up and went to take the next test.

"Poor soul...he needs friends."

"Yo! Agent 8 ready to kick some Octoling butt?!" Pearl said.

Agent 8 stared at his test. All he had to do was take the rainmaker to the enemy's side.
"This should be simple...all I have to do is take that big golden fish to the enemy's base , easy enough."

Agent 8 took out his CQ-card and he went in. He only had 5 minutes to take the rainmaker to the base.

"Oh no I see trouble...just get to the base and avoid any Octoling, they'll most likely try to manipulate you Agent 8, so don't listen to them!"
Marina said.

"Okay I'll try..." Agent 8 wasn't so sure. Those Octolings looked quite intimidating. However he made it this far, shouldn't be difficult right?

And off he went. Octolings were already super jumping at his direction and he managed to splat them. He was getting closer to the rainmaker when a voice behind him spoke.

"You little traitor... you think you're so good now huh? Think you're better than us do you now?" Agent 8 tried to avoid it but the Octoling somehow made it to the front and blocked him. Before Agent 8 could shoot the ball of ink out of the rainmaker, the Octoling tackled him to the ground.

"Hey! Let me go!"

"Agent 8?? What's going on..!?" Marina asked when she heard the commotion.

The Octoling pinned him down. She pressed her gun on his temple. "You betrayed us! You're a disgrace to us Octarians! You shouldn't live!"

"What're you talking about! I'm not one of you!" Agent 8 was struggling. The Octoling was too strong.

"You were one of us and you went off to fight some Inkling. They must've brainwashed you...come back to us and together we should take over Inkopolis..." Agent 8 closed his eyes. He couldn't...he knew better than that.

"Agent 8! Don't listen to her for your own sake!" Marina said panicking.

"Ya! Fight her off Agent 8! We're your true friends!" Pearl said.

"Don't you see...they're using you! After you're done with those missions they'll get rid of you and abandon you!" Agent 8 had enough.

"NO!" Agent 8 kicked the Octoling off and retreated the Rainmaker.

He splatted the Octoling and made it to the base.

"You'll pay for this" Said the Octoling's soul.

Captain Cuddlefish met Agent 8 inside the train. Agent 8 felt exhausted.

"Where ya going kid?" Asked the Captain.
"I need some air." Agent 8 responded. He got off the train and hopped on the opposite side of the railroad tracks where there were no trains.
