The Challenge

Lucy's POV

"just relax," reassuring the three in front of me i take a deep breath. "don't freak out." walking up to Axon i smile at his excited expression. we did this last night, my attempt to get his mind off of what had happened. by the time we had gotten back Grey was no where to be seen. neither was Levy and i felt sorry for him.

taking a deep breath i let my finger glow as i summon Loke. Axon glows dimly as i imagine the link between us and guide oke down it. before both die down. Axon pauses for a moment, a confused look on his face as he tries to figure out the other soul now inside of him.

Rouge's next, He lets go of Levy's hand too out it up for me. I grab his wrist and he grabs mine. Instantly Scorpio jumps into my head, I'd already thought this over. I have to choose a spirit that works well and is compatible with them, otherwise it doesn't work as well.

It was a miracle that Loke and Axon where so compatible first try. Another finger glows and Scorpio merges with Rouge. Keeping hold of his wrists I give them a moment. When nothing happens and I receive no backlash I peel my fingers off of him. Cautiously stepping backwards while keeping an eye on him. Keeping his eyes closed he sways a little.

After a minuet of silence and concentration he opens them and smiles. "Good choice." Breathing out I relax slightly, nodding thankfully.

"Are you sure your up for this Luce?" Levy peers at my face. "Holding all of this can't be easy on you."

"It's okay, I can do it." taking Levy's hand i pause. i know who would be a great match with her, but also want to test and find out if someone else would better enhance her. 

"do you reckon i could try out Capricorn?" she asked, reading my mind.

"i don't know weather to be afraid of the two of you or excited." she grins and Capricorn is already in my head waiting. the moment the connection is made the two hit it off. forcing me to pull away before my mind overloads with words and information.

stepping across to Sting i look up at him. He breaks out his smile and warmth spreads in my chest. Raising and arm he hold up His palm. Copying his movements I rest my palm against his, our fingers automatically lock into each other. As my eyes close I smile to myself. my strength already returning from being this close to him.

except i have no idea which spirit will work well with him.  "hello miss Lucy, could i take a try?" Sagittarius questions in my mind. opening the link i let him join with Sting.

"okay," stepping back i take a moment to balance everything.

"can we fight now?" Axon's bouncing on his feet with anticipation. 

my face breaks into a smile. "yes," opening my eyes i walk back to where Auma is watching. Sammy and Olivia sit on the grass next to her, playing with a magical box of some sort. Oli is completely endorsed in the devise that she doesn't even flinch when i step up next to her.

"are you okay my darling?"

"I've got it under control." the sound of the others trying out their new abilities and fighting drones out the pounding going through my body. my hair whips up as a mini tornado, curtsy of Rouge, goes through the clearing. Levy's muttering to herself while watching everyone and Axon is jumping around the area, taking advantage of Leo's heightened qualities.

"i don't think Sagittarius was a good choice for Sting." Auma points out, nodding over to where Sting is getting frustrated by not being able to hit anything with his fists.

"i don't know who else to put him with. i thought maybe Taurus would work but i'm not sure. Aquarius' personality clashes with everybody to the point where they don't blend together. Virgo will probably creep him out and Aries is far to timid. Gemini, well, their already two people to begin with." i'm muttering, going on mostly to myself.
