Lost Love

The Match

Lucy's POV

"grey!" I exclaim in surprise when him and axon enter the room. it takes less then a second to realize that they were holding hands and instantly i'm smiling like a child again.

"good timing, your match will be on soon." eyeing Grey, Auma smiles softly. "I'm afraid yours is too Grey." both of the guys' face falls.

"oh," Axon lets out meekly.

"you should get back to your guild, they will be annoyed if you stay away for too long." i input sadly. at first he doesn't move, hesitating in the doorway, hand still in Grey's.

"we'll find you afterwards, then we can explain whats been happening." Levy picks up on whats being unsaid. hearing this grey nods and takes a step back. the two have a moment, Axon smiles softly at him. before Grey closes the door behind him.

"how much longer do we have?" Rouge looks over to the clock on the wall as he speaks.

"not long, Trigon won their match. whoever wins between you and Fairytail makes it to the finals." a far off silence settles over the group.

"this is it" i mumble. "we're actually versing Fairytail."

"yeah," levy echos.

"and you are going to win without a doubt. this is what you've been training for isn't it?" taking a stand Auma turns serious. "make a plan, stick to the plan. you have all of the training you need to beat these guys. so work together and support each other.

"i have something of a plan," Levy announces. Sting gives me a quick hug and kiss on the cheek before turning serious and stepping forwards to listen to Levy.

"it's not a complete plan because of all the people who will be in the fight. but if we work together like Auma said we should be able to get the upper hand."

"what is it?" Axon steps up next to her.

"this is going to sound weird, but don't fight full strength to being with, fight differently to how you usually would. Fairy tail will power up as they fight so we need to be able to do the same, if we go full out to begin with we wont be able to meet their stamina and will fall short."

"they also spend the first half of the math watching how you fight," Rouge points out from experience. 

"yes, that's why we need to fight differently to if we were going full out. don't use any big spells at the start, don't show all of your cards, don't let them know what you're going to do." nodding we follow along.

"what do you want me to do?" Axon questions seriously. "i wont be much help in one on one battles, which i'm guessing is going to be the main fighting style here."

"not exactly, i propose that we start off with one on one fights, which i want you to figure out their weaknesses and loose points. watch from a distance, we'll protect you as much as we can." nodding he thinks this over.

"so we start with one on one fights, then move onto?" leaving this all to levy we watch her expectantly.

"then we pair up, rouge and i will take on grey and Elfman. Lucy and Sting will take on Natsu and Erza. i'm not sure who they're going to put in for the final person as they can change it, and knowing Fairytail they will, depending who sin the best shape and will give them more fire power."

"so it could be anyone," i say more to myself they the rest.

"Axon,"

"got it, ill take on the last person, or at least distract them away from your fights." Levy looks surprised for a moment before smiling.
