September 8th (Thursday)

Today was a fun filled day of class. But today we're we're actually doing practical work and not just sitting in the classroom for the day. I decided to leave my cane at home and just use Ray if I need to. I need to teach him how to guide a little better as I'm stubborn as heck and sometimes refuse to use my cane even if I know I'll have to.

Because I ended up at class early, I just sat awkwardly in the corner on my phone texting Leo. I told her all about Ray and she seemed to believe there was a 'spark' between us. I assured her there was none of that at all. And had she really forgotten I was asexual, who would want to date me? The joys of living in a over sexualised society.

When more people started arriving I told her we would FaceTime later and talk more about life. We genuinely prefer to get deep during our late night conversations but considering neither of us can stay awake past eleven nowadays they don't happen too often. So we decide to get deep during the afternoons as a compromise.

Once everyone had arrived, we all got registered and taken outside. Today we had dogs to deal with. We were going to learn how to handle them and do a little bit of training with them. Me and Ray had to work together on this as there was only one dog per two people and the teacher decided to just leave us in our seating pairs. Thanks for that, I guess.

We had a golden retriever called Astro and of course, I did most of the handling as Ray didn't have a clue. I showed him how to properly handle her and I helped him to teacher her to give him a high five which he was very happy about. It's so funny how such a simple trick has so many people amazed. Leo would understand my way of thinking about this.

After class, Ray insisted he walked me to my dorm for some reason he wouldn't tell me about. As we were waking Leo called me so I picked up and introduced her to Ray. Luckily for me she managed to behave herself and didn't say something stupid in front of him. But let's just say I was glad when I arrived at my door. I said bye to Ray and went inside, flopping on my bed with Leo still in my hand.

"Wow." She said flatly. "What?" I ask taking my shoes off and putting them by the door. "Claire you must really be blind cause you really can't see that guy is crushing on you. And he's crushing harddddd." She says excitedly. "Me, blind? Don't know what you're saying. And Leo he doesn't like me, how many times do I have to tell you this?" I reply. "Do I have to figure out a way to slap some sense into you Claire? He. Likes. You." She says emphasising her point. "If you say one more thing about him imma hang up on you, just so you know." I say getting a little mad at her persistent ways. "He-" is all she can manage to say before I press the red button, ending the call.

I was listening to cavetown to try and calm myself down when there was a knock at my door. I answer it and there stood Ray. "Me and a few guys are going out. Uh do you want to come?" He asks me wiping his hands on his jeans. "Uh, I'm not sure." I reply nervous. I haven't been out with a group of people in like forever. "Come on it'll be fun." He reasons. "Fine." I reply grabbing my stuff to go.

"This is not fun." I'm currently hiding in the toilets in a McDonald's trying to fight off another attack. Stupid me for thinking this would be a fun night out. I need to get home before this progresses and I'm left in a sticky situation with Ray and all of his friends.

I managed to convince Ray that I needed to get home, blaming it on some stupid reason I don't even remember. I'm currently laying in bed with the lights off and cavetown blasting in my ears. If you hadn't of guessed by now, cavetown is my go to guy and pretty much the only singer and person that manages to calm my anxious state. I love my little cave boi.

As per usual, I fall asleep to the sweet sound of his voice.
