Later in the present, Sophie was lying in a couch. She was still sad of what had happened with Sky and her stepbrother Joe. Quickly, she fell asleep and began experiencing a nightmare, finding herself in a dark forest.

SOPHIE - Don't know how to take it, don't know where to go
My resistance's running low
And every day the hold is getting tighter and it troubles me so
Suddenly, an unknown robotic voice responded her.
UNKNOWN VOICE - You know that I'm nobody's fool
Frightened, Sophie ran away.
SOPHIE - I'm nobody's fool and yet it's clear to me
I don't have a strategy
It's just like taking candy from a baby
And I think I must be
All at once, a crowd of shadows rushed up to Sophie, willing to attack her.
SOPHIE - Under attack, I'm being taken
About to crack, defenses breaking

He's on my track, my chasing brother
Thinking nothing's gonna stop him now

Gradually, the shadows disappeared and Sophie could breathe a little. Soon, she saw a manly silhouette from far. It turned out to be Sky which relieved her. Forthwith, she ran towards him.
SOPHIE - Now this is getting crazy, I should tell him so
Really let my anger show
Persuade him that the answer to his questions is a definite "No"
UNKNOWN VOICE - Still undecided I suppose
SOPHIE - Guess I'm kind of flattered but I'm scared as well
Staring down the deepest well
I hardly dare to think of what could happen
Where I'd be if I fell
Arriving to a smiling Sky, she jumped into his arms, finally feeling safe. However, Sky's face faded, merging into Joe: the unknown frightening voice was his. Freaking out, Sophie ran away from him but he followed her like a stalker all over the woods.
SOPHIE - Under attack, I'm being taken

Stumbling, Sophie fell into a well. She shouted in vain for someone to rescue her but all she could see was a proud smile on Joe's face, watching her disappearing into the void. Suddenly, Sophie heard a voice calling her: "Mom! Mom! Are you okay?". Waking up, she found herself in the couch with her son Donny standing up in front of her.
DONNY – You had a nightmare?
SOPHIE – Oh yes, honey. A horrible nightmare...
Donny jumped into her arms and hugged her. He couldn't stand seeing her in such a bad mood and decided to cheer her up. Thus, he went to the bedroom taking with him a packet of playing cards and went back to his mother.
DONNY – Would you like to play with me?
Sophie stared at her son. Suddenly, all her sadness disappeared and she smiled at him while nodding yes. Donny sat next to his mother and they started to play. They were having fun and were laughing so hard. Donny succeeded in cheering up Sophie.
Back in the past, after a few months of hard training, Ruby was ready for her audition. By this time, her belly had grown and the baby arrival was close. Once she arrived at the record company, Ruby sat in the waiting room: she was horrified. When her turn came, she entered the audition room and greeted the jury with the head of the record company Bennett Wilson between them. Standing in front of the jury, Ruby was overcome by fear but as she thought about her child, she regained confidence.
