"GoodMorning, Mr.Carter. Today you have a meeting at 3 as you schedule." My assistant spoke to me as I was walked. "Ok, thank you. I need you to remind me that I need to pick up Jaylah at 6:45 from swimming class."
"Noted sir."
"Thank you." I walked into my office and I began to work. My phone rung, "Hey babygirl, what's up?"
"Dad I can't go to school today, my hair isn't coming out right."
"You have to go school J. No excuses I better not get a phone call that you weren't there."
"Dad!" She huffed.
"Goodbye Jaylah, love you." I hung up.

"Mr.Carter." My phone from my desk buzz alerting me that my assistant was speaking. "Yes? You have a visitor. Goes by Mr.Bay."
"Let him in."

Moments later he knocked and came into the room. "Hey, here to drop off some new reports of the newest updates." He smiled handing me the folder. Looking over the stats I smiled almost coming to tears. "She would have been really proud of what you have done for her." He said. I just smiled at him and stood up. "I appreciate everything Bay. Thank you. She's gone and this right here was her last project before other things came in the way. It's been the biggest hit and as I, a businessman, keeps its up and running. Along with my partner, Mr.Bay."
We shared a warm, silent moment smiling at each other. With the lost of April, Mr.Bay has been nothing but great help me with her last & final piece of work.

Drilling hours of work tired me out for the day. I decided it was time to get home and see my children.
"Have a goodnight, get home safely." I smiled at my associates as they left as well. I hopped into my suv that waited for me, texted my children I'll be home soon. I listened to one of April's videos that I saved in my phone, "Hey John! Hey baby! I love you! Can't wait to see you when you get home and- Oh no, I gotta go the triplets they are getting into stuff. Byee!"
I relaxed back and put my phone away. God, hearing her voice sends chills down my spine, a warm and cozy feelings to ears, and a heart touching moment of reminiscing.

I grabbed my phone and went straight to my photos. I skimmed and saw a photo of younger daughter, Justice. My heart didn't even beat anymore, my soul keeping me alive, and the love from my children that keeps me breathing.

"You're Home sir." I stepped out the car and hurried inside. As usual, they are always on their phones eating with the tv on, but never watching it.
"Hey Dad!" They said in Union. It never gets old. "Hey kiddos, how was school."  I kissed their head hugging each and every one tightly.
