I sighed in content as I finished the last stitch on the hat.

Father's Day was approaching, and I had no one to spend it with. My parents had died when I was young, killed by a vampire. A man named Robert Singer saved me, and took me in. He raised me, trained me, and took care of me. He made me the person I am today.

So I decided to do something nice for him. He was the closest thing I've had to a father in my years of life so why not make him a present and a card.

The hat I am currently stitching was a trucker hat I had found for cheap at the thrift store. I decided to remove the original stitching and add my own. I managed to stitch on a gun, made from complete black thread. Bobby may not like it, but it's the thought that counts.

I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and began to write a heart filled note to Bobby Singer.

Dear Mr Robert Singer,
Happy Father's Day! I know you aren't my real dad, but you're pretty damn close.
Thanks for training me so I don't get killed. Thanks for all the info on monsters. Thanks for saving me all those years ago. Thanks for raising me. Thanks for always being there. Thank you for being my father.
I just want you to know that I love you and appreciate you.
Love,
Y/N

I smiled to myself and folded up the note before sneaking into Bobby's room. He was fast asleep and snoring away, making me hold back a laugh. I placed the card and the hat on his nightstand so he would see it when he woke up. I smiled to myself and left the room quietly, going downstairs to make breakfast.

It was almost 2 hours later that I heard the sluggish steps of Bobby Singer walking downstairs. I turned towards the old man and spotted the new hat on his head. I couldn't help but grin.

"Breakfast and a hat? Well isn't it my lucky day." Bobby grinned at me.

"Do you like it?" I asked, hopefully.

"Like it? I absolutely love it." He grinned and wrapped me in a hug.

"Thank you, Y/N." He softly whispered.

I couldn't see the tears in his eyes, as he remembered his father and how he was treated.

He then realized he raised you good, no where near how that old man raised him.
