Cough's racked my throat, snot dripped from my nose, my whole body hurt. Man I hate being sick. It was just a cold but I hated it.

The only good thing was getting to hang out with Jack a lot. When I first started getting sick he immediately assumed I was dying and started freaking out. But we all reassured him that I was fine I was going to get better. Ever since, he's been online and reading constantly, trying to find ways to make me feel better. He barely let me leave my bed, only letting me when I had to pee.

"Okay, I found online warm tea helps." Jack walked in with a coffee mug.

I laughed to myself and paused my TV show, slightly sitting up. He handed me the cup and sat down with me, letting me take a sip before setting it down on my nightstand.

"I'm gonna go look-"

"Jack stop, this will go away on its own. Just, come lay with me and watch TV." He seamed disappointed that he couldn't help me.

"It's common, it has to go away on its own. I'm on meds and it'll be gone soon," I smiled slightly.

So he laid down with me, me cuddled into his chest out of comfort. He ran his fingertips up and down my back, something I knew he picked up on TV. Nevertheless it felt great so I didn't complain. Within minutes, I fell asleep.

Hours later, it was almost midnight when I woke up again. The bunker was silent except for the slight snores coming from Dean's room. Jack was still asleep, so I snuck out.

In the kitchen, I made myself a warm cup of tea, as my old one went to waste.

"What are you doing out of bed?" I looked up and saw a drowsy looking Jack.

"I wanted Tea." I sniffled.

"I'll make it, go back to bed." He walked over to me.

"Jack, it's cute how concerned you are for me but getting up is good for me. Too much bed rest is bad. So let me make my own tea and we'll both go back to bed." I smiled at him and turned back to my tea.

I didn't fail to notice the redness of his face at my cute comment.

After my tea, he walked me to my room and helped me borrow in my blankets again before climbing in with me.

Before we could go to sleep, I leaned up and kissed his cheek, "thank you for taking care of me."

He was so red in the face he could of been mistaken for a tomato.

"Anytime."
