Falling From Grace

Soon Enough

Grace had been feeling weird pains in her stomach all week, like her stomach was feeling upset and was making her crouch over in pain some days, so Randy had enough and finally told her to get to the doctor, set up appointments and everything

"Hello Mrs. Orton, my name is Dr. Miller and I'll be your doctor today," a woman with blonde hair greeted as she walked into the room

"Pleasure," Grace replied shaking her hand

"Now Mr. Orton told us that you've been having extreme stomach pains lately, to the point where you have trouble breathing or cannot move for a few minutes, is that true?" She asked, pulling out her clip board

"Yes ma'am," Grace replied in her barely there now southern accent

"Okay now have you ever been pregnant or have a history of severe stomach pains?" She asked and Grace bit her lip

"I had a miscarriage in the past," she replied and the doctor nodded

"Okay Mrs. Orton, we'll run some tests, between now and Friday you'll have your results," she said and Grace nodded

They did an ultrasound, a blood test, a catheter test and a urine sample

"Okay I know you travel alot so I'll call you with your results," the doctor told her as she walked her out to the front

"Thanks so much Dr." Grace said and smiled

Randy and Grace were in Bora Bora after a Smackdown when the doctor finally got back to Grace with the results. She was by the pool with Randy when her phone rang, she heard it and got up, telling Randy she'd be right back and she went inside

"Hello?" She answered

"Hello Mrs. Orton, this is Dr. Miller, I just called to inform you that your results are in," she said and Grace bit her lip

"I'm gonna email them and then you can call me back if you have questions," she told Grace and hung up

Grace waited approximately 3 minutes before she got an email notification

She opened it and scanned the screen quickly and then she was in shock and she had to read them over again

"Oh my gosh," she said and quickly dialled the doctor's number

"Doctor, how is this possible?" She asked in absolute shock

"It's your body, it's repairing itself so your cervix is repairing its own tissues. Soon enough, you'll be able to conceive Mrs. Orton," she said and Grace gasped, tears in her eyes

"Are you serious Dr. Miller?" She asked, fist clenched on the counter

"Yes I am Mrs. Orton, after your next period is over, come back to the clinic and we'll see how things are," the doctor replied and Grace smiled

"Oh my gosh," she whispered to herself after she had hung up the phone. She couldn't wait to tell Randy.

"Randy!" She yelled and he jumped nearly off the chair he was sitting on

"What? What? Are you okay?" He asked panicked as he sat up

She opened the email again and handed it to him, he read through it and then looked at her wide eyed

"Baby, is this serious?" He asked and she nodded, the tears still in her eyes with the widest smile on her face

"I can give you a baby?" He asked in amazement and she nodded

"We can have a family Randy," she told him and Randy got up and hugged her close to him, he kissed her forehead repeatedly, god he was so happy

Now they were at dinner and Grace had shrimp scampi and Randy had lamb and potatoes

"I'm really happy," Randy said and Grace smiled while she chewed

"Me too daddy," she replied and Randy grinned and looked at the table

"When's your period?" He asked her

"Supposed to be some time next week, then I gotta go to see the doc to figure out when's the best time to begin trying for the baby," she told him and he grinned wider

"God I can't wait. Life really works in favour of those who have faith," he said and she smiled, Randy wasn't exactly religious but he never forget to thank god for what he did have in life

Grace was so happy she could make Randy happy. She touched her stomach with her hand and smiled. Soon enough, she'd have another life in her body. That made her feel so good. She could finally become a mom. Wow, things were working out.
