5 reasons why i don't understand boys:

1. I have no luck with boys. And I'm a model. Models always have tough boyfriend, with tattoos, cool shoes and sexy hair, who play in a band? Well I don't. Boys don't see me, maybe it's because I'm only 156 cm.
2. I'm scared of boys. I've been in love for over a 100 years with Adrien, but I'm to scared too tell him. When I was four I asked him to marry me, but that doesn't count right?
3. I don't understand guys. A few days ago, Nathaniel kicked a ball 5 times against my bag. And my best friends cloë and Alya said: "that's a trick, he likes you!" How do they know those kinds of things?
4. But what I really don't get is: why do I always act so awkward toward someone I like? And why doesn't cloë have that problem? She always pushes her breasts together and laughs when she sees a cute guy.
5. At least there is still one light in my life, My cat tikki. She always scratches my door when I get home. I got her when my grandpa died. She is my comfort cat. I'm better with cats then boys.

The sun is falling trough the high windows in to the classroom. Marinette is staring at Adrien. He's wearing a new shirt. She's staring dreamily at the lines on his shirt. When did his hair get so long? It looks hot, he looks older too. She feels her cheeks glowing a little. What if they where stranded on an island. Just the two of them. Wouldn't that be dreamy ? Marinette jumps a little because Adrien is smiling at her. She quickly bows her head and acts like she working really hard. She looks at the clock, only 20 min left. I wish I was in a different class, she thought. Adrien is bad for my concentration. But then I wouldn't be able to look at him. But I could answer a few question. But not look at him. Arggghh. Ivan poked her. "For Adrien" he said while giving her a small stack of  notes. She waits for the teacher to look the other way and opens the notes.

Kisses Lila? Since when is lila after Adrien, Marinette thinks, while looking at lila's doll like face. Lila is a tall girl with brown hair and green eyes. And she is a really good lia- I mean dancer. Adrien probably likes her. Again, she feels a poke. Another note.

A. bra strap is loose, can you fix it?

Suddenly Ms. Mendeleiev is walking toward Marinette. "It's not a cheatnote!" Marinette squeaks. "We will see" she says with an amused smile on her face. "A. Bra strap is loose, can you fix it?" With a thud she drops her head on her workbook. "A, let me think. The A from Adrien?" Ms. Mendeleiev laughs.

"Thats not my note"
"It Landed on your lap by accident?"
"I don't even have a bra" Marinette screams.
"Well, I suggest that the lady who wrote this note can fix it herself"

"Marinette what do you have at question 3?" Alya asks while kicking open the swinging doors. It's lunch break. The halls are full of teenagers. "Something with pine cones and cats" Marinette shouts above al the buzz. "And 7?"
"Something with ladybugs and foxes" Marinette puts her jacket on and runs after Alya.

"Hotguysalarm" Hums cloë.
"The one with the curls is the smartest because he has the biggest head" Alya wispers, while checking them out.
"But his head could be empty" Marinette mumbles.
Cloë's blue eyes role from left too right like she's looking at a tennis match.
"Which one is the best kisser?" Cloë asks.

Marinette sees Adrien walking outside. He walks towards a bench right in front of them and sits down. "Did you guys notice that Adrien became hot?" Cloë drools. "What makes you think that?" Marinette askes. "Because, his hair is long and he is wearing a cool shirt"
"Pfff, The guys in our class are so childish" Alya says while looking at Adrien. Cloë sweeps her long, blond hair over her shoulders and gives them a mysterious look. "Come here, I have a secret"
She didn't kiss Adrien, right?  Marinette thinks.
"I'm going to do something exciting. Kind of like a scientific experiment" cloë says mysteriously. "For my experiment I need a guy who has a lot of experience in kissing" cloë opens her backpack and takes out a light pink Dora-notebook. "I will write down the the result in this book, my kiss list"
"Clo, don't be silly" Alya squeaks. "No I mean it" says cloë. Marinette looks at the list.

wait Adrien! "Adrien on number 4?" Marinette asks shocked.
"Yes, maybe I should put him on number 1" cloë says while looking at him. "Last summer he kissed with 9 girls, and with Lila!" Marinette was shocked. Why didn't she know this? "Lila is sixteen"
"Exactly. And Lila kissed half the school, so he probably learned it from her"
"Adrien is not a fast learner. He isn't good at Spanish. I mean, Adrien! He is in our class, remember that? I would put him on number 10. Or just take him of the list!" Marinette belly feels like it's going to explode. Like there is a war going on in her tummy. "I heard from Lila that he is an excellent kisser. Doesn't surprise me, with his full lips. And His long hair, it looks so sexy! Maybe I'll kiss him this afternoon, in the bike shed"
She had to stop cloë. Adrien can't kiss one of her best friends. What if they fall in love. And they stay together for the rest of there life's?
"He took of his jacket. Look at those arms! He is so muscular"  Marinette looks carefully at Adrien. 3 girls from 8 grade are standing around him. What happened to him? He turned in to a brad pit. "Come, let's go to homeroom. The class next to us is 3A. Hotboyssss" Alya jumps up and pulls Marinette's Jacket. "I'll be right behind you" Marinette says, She feels a frown on her face.

Marinette is walking home. She looses a few buttons and lets the wind blow through her hair. Why did her best friend want to kiss Adrien? Cloë isn't in love. She just thinks he is interesting. But what if she falls in love? And he likes her too? Cloë is super good looking, one of those girls any guys would want. And she knows exactly how to act toward a boy. Should she tell cloë that's she had been in love with Adrien for over a 100 years? Her hands are shaking. Then she feels a hand on her shoulder, speaking of the devil.

"Heyhi Adrien" Marinette hears her voice shake. Adrien pokes her side. "How was your weekend?" She quickly covers her knees. "fantastic! Nice weather, a good book, couldn't be better. And  you did some exciting thinks too, so I've heard?"
"I visited my grandma and bought some wax for my surfboard. Not that exciting" Adrien stretches his legs and folds his feet. "And you bought new shoes?"
"O yes, my mom bought them for me"
Why did Adrien kiss Lila? He could have chosen anyone! Marinette grabs her water bottle and trows is in the trash can. Maybe a little to hard.
"By the way, you still have my dictionary. Now I can't translate a word"
"It's still at home. I'll take it with me tomorrow" Marinette folds her arms. "Why didn't you think about it today? I don't like it when people don't give me back my stuff"
"it has bin three days"Adrien says surprised. "Its not handy that I don't have my dictionary. What if I have to translate something?"
"Should I bring it this after noon?" Adrien asks, while fumbling his hair.
Marinette hesitates for a moment. Should she meet with Adrien this afternoon? No way, what good is it to hang out with someone who kissed Lila and nine other girls? "Ill borrow Alya's dictionary. Let's get too class, Our lesson starts soon" she jumps up and pulls her backpack on her shoulder.
