marinette looks at her phone. it is only a quarter to nine. her friends always enter the schoolyard just before nine. luckily she was early, so she could grab the card from Adrien unnoticed.

very close...? let's think which girls were all very close yesterday. :) there is a girl, she's always close to my heart and she always smells nice.

Marinette thinks about last night with Adrien in her room. There is not a word on his card about that. Is he in love with someone else? Who is that girl who is always close to his heart? That is why he went home immediately after the football match. She sees cloe stepping out of her limo in front of the schoolyard. she is wearing a short skirt with a black glitter jacket. a lilac hat on her head. She walks towards marinette. Marinette quickly puts the card in her bag. "bounjouw marinette" Cloe exuberantly wraps her arms around marinette and gives her three air kisses. "are we going to kiss from now on?" marinette is smiling. "why are you dressed like that?" marinette asks. "For the boys of course, Roy or Adrien" Marinette spits out a piece of cake. "adrien?" "Adrien is on my kiss list, remember?" marinette ticks her bag nervously. "Maybe you can't just take it off" Cloe looks at her in het surprise. "And miss the opportunity to learn to kiss? don't think so."

Cloe suddenly jumps up from the bench.  "wow, you should see lila!" she screams loudly. Marinette looks frightened at Lila's jacket.  "she is wearing a fur coat!" 
"sooo gucci!" cloe yells.  "So cool, with that checkered dress and boots. I must have a jacket like that" marinette makes a dirty face. "it's cat fur"
"so what?  you have leather shoes on?"  "that is from a cow that people have eaten." Marinette says as she stares at lila's coat.  "people also eat cats, right?"  "those cats are not really made into coats, they are specially bred so that they get an extra beautiful coat. A fur coat requires 40 cats"  "forty?"
"Forty sweet, soft cats like Tikki." 
"but it looks nice", marinette looks at Cloe in surprise.  "You can also buy a fake fur? They don't stink either."  marinette takes her pink post-its from her bag.  she draws a bunny on it with a black marker.  "sweet, right?" she adds. 

"pay attention."  Marinette gives her bag to cloe and jumps off the bench. she walks past lila and quickly sticks the post-it on her back.  she hops back satisfied to cloe.  alya just arrived at school and she can't hold back a smile.  "Another one, you have to stick another one on her back!" Alya laughs.
Marinette takes her pink post-its and, together with alya and cloe, draws a whole pile of rabbits.  "come along" they walk towards lila. "I'll distract her" Cloe says.  "lila! what a beautiful jacket. so gucci! lila smiles proudly.  "Cool right, from real cats. Got it from kate moss herself"
liar, marinette thinks. She gently presses the notes against lila's jacket.  "So cool, can I smell the it?"  cloe asks as she presses her nose into the jacket.

10 more to go.  she gestures to alya that she has to help distract lila and presses a pink sheet against the fluffy fur.  "it smells so delicious!"  cloe calls.  "is it nice and warm?"  alya asks.  marinette sticks the last post-it on lila's sleeve and raises her thumb up to the girls.  cloe looks doubtfully at marinette.  "Something else I wanted to ask you. how does adrien kiss?"  marinette gestures that they  must go.  "Well I'll hear about it later. Bye!"  cloe and alya walk away. marinette looks at lila's jacket with a smile, which is completely full of pink post-its.  then she sees adrien standing by the planter.  damn, he saw everything.  she runs to him.  "you keep your mouth shut"
"hey, little Georgina verbaan, it was fun yesterday," adrien says.  "Yes, that was fun," Marette stammers.  why did he watch football?  "Is tikki doing okay?"  adrien asks.  "little sneezes and stuff."  little sneezes?  she must say something better.  "adrien, what I wanted to ask .." "good action, that with lila."  adriens eyes twinkle.  "rancid coat, lila has gone mad." marinette stares at adrien.  "You kissed someone who wears fur, gross."  she feels her stomach turn around. 
"I really do not understand that you kissed that b*tch." 
"It was just a kiss. A very short one. And she was not wearing a fur coat."  "what did she wear? a sexy top top with a V right up to her belly button?"  "marinette, take it easy. I think that what you did to her is cool."  marinette bites her lip uncomfortably.  adrien puts an arm around her.  "Or are you jealous?" 

Then they hear a loud scream.
"Look, lila's going crazy."  outside lila is hysterically screaming and picking the notes from her coat as if they ate fleas.  marinette pulls adrien on his jacket.  "I have to run. I need to get something out of my locker and the lesson are starting soon."  she waits until adrien is gone and carefully lifts the planter.  she quickly slides the card underneath and runs to her class.

My dearest adrien! 
I hope so...
*blush*
yes, I'm blushing...
but who doesn't? 
declarations of love kinda scare me...
