INT. TORIE'S BEDROOM – DAY

TORIE'S POV

Torie's standing in front of the mirror doing her hair. Savannah's sittting in front of her attempting to put on makeup.

SUPERIMPOSE: The Artist (All Titles in artistic/theme letters)

Savannah pokes herself with the mascara wand.

SAVANNAH

Ow. I should not be trusted with this thing.

Brandy joins them at the mirror holding two pairs of shoes.

BRANDY

Please help the child out before she loses an eye. (re: shoes) Which ones go better?

Torie looks up from fixing Savannah's makeup.

TORIE

I like the straps better, but you're going to want to take them off after five minutes.

BRANDY

Boots it is.

She walks away.

SAVANNAH

I don't see how you can do this every day. I just splash some water on my face and I'm all set.

TORIE

It adds another element to the look. It's like, another way to express yourself. You're good to go.

Mo joins them at the mirror putting on earrings.

MO

Now you look like one of us instead of the lead singer of heavy metal band. Zip me up?

Savannah zips up Mo's top. Mo walks away. Torie hands Savannah the mascara and a blush palette.

TORIE

Now you can practice at home. Find your own look.

She goes back to doing her hair in the mirror.

SAVANNAH

I'll try not to poke my eye out.

She drops the makeup in her bag and takes out her phone. Checks her messages.

SAVANNAH

Vance wants to meet with me.

TORIE

Right now? We're leaving in an hour.

SAVANNAH

He wants to see me before the show. I'll meet you guys at the school.

She grabs her bags and we see her reflection as she heads for the door. Shae walks up to the mirror putting on her own makeup.

SHAE

Try not to smear.

Savannah fakes a smile and leaves.

INT. ALL EATS DINER – DAY

VANCE'S POV

Vance picks up a giant burger and stuffs it in his mouth. Savannah sits across from him, mildly disgusted.
