ABRAM
Insides, done.
Candice puts down her work and gets up.
CANDICE
Good. Now it's time for the fun part.
She goes to the wall. Grabs a bucket, soap, rags, and a spray bottle. Gives them to Abram.
CANDICE (CONT'D)
On second thought.
She takes the spray bottle back.
CANDICE (CONT'D)
Not sure if I trust you with that.
ABRAM
Are you going to let me do my job or not?
Candice thinks it over. Hands him the spray bottle. She goes back to her seat.
CANDICE
Start from the top and make your way down.
Abram starts to clean the car. He looks over at her. He sprays her with the water bottle. She gapes at him.
ABRAM
You should have trusted your instinct.
She gets up.
CANDICE
You know I'm your future boss, right? I could have you fired.
ABRAM
Technically, I'm not an employee. Yet, I'm the one doing all the work.
CANDICE
Fine. Let me show you how it's done.
She grabs a spray bottle and they have a spray fight. Mr. Edward looks through the blinds of his office. Shakes his head and goes back to work.

CANDICE
Not bad, rookie. Uncle James did not do you justice.
ABRAM
To be fair, I've been giving him a hard time. He's always been my favorite.
CANDICE
He loves what he does. It's not every day you find a teacher with that kind of passion. Be good to him.
She takes out her phone.
CANDICE (CONT'D)
My shift is up and I am officially off the clock.
ABRAM
Back to your happy, miserable life?
CANDICE
It's what I was born for.
She collects her things.
ABRAM
Hey. Thanks for your help.
CANDICE
You're a good a worker. Also hard to come by. I hope I see you around. Night, Uncle James!
Mr. Edwards comes out of his office.
MR. EDWARDS
Night, Candice.
Candice puts up the peace sign and walks out. Mr. Edwards checks out the car.
MR. EDWARDS
You guys did an excellent job. Looks really good.
ABRAM
Does that mean I can leave too?
