EXT. MONTOYA HOME – DAY
Savannah's pulling her skates out of her car trunk. It's crowded with bags of clothes and shoes. An engine roars and she looks up to see Vance cruising over on his motorcycle. He parks it, takes off his helmet.
SAVANNAH
I thought I told you I wasn't riding that thing.
VANCE
You're going to show up in that?
He checks out her trunk.
VANCE
What is all that stuff, anyway?
SAVANNAH
Nothing. Just stuff.
She slams the trunk closed.
SAVANNAH (CONT'D)
We should get going.
VANCE
We can make them wait a little longer, don't you think?
They kiss. He hands her his helmet.
VANCE (CONT'D)
I bought a spare just in case.
Savannah smirks. Let's do this.
EXT. CITY STREETS – DAY
Savannah sings "We Belong" by Pat Benatar as she and Vance zoom through the city on his motorcycle. They pass by couples walking down the street. Some holding hands, some arguing, some walking away from each other. She holds onto him tightly, it's romantic yet scary.
SAVANNAH
We belong to the light
We belong to the thunder
We belong to the sound of the words
We've both fallen under
Whatever we deny or embrace
For worse or for better
We belong
We belong, we belong together
We watch them ride off down the road.
