this was like the third time they had ever brought up taehyungs insomnia. he always joked about it when he couldn't sleep and uses it as something to say to his friends so they don't worry. but one night when he said "haha it's fine. i'd be up anyway bc of my insomnia" jungkook actually asked was his alright.
he didn't really like to speak about it in depth with strangers, but that made him feel a little bit closer to jungkook. he actually cared enough to ask instead of sending back tons laughing emojis.

"NOOO" he yelled. his fingers slipped while he was typing and he accidentally sent that heart along with his message. he was sure he had scared him off now. it was too soon and they weren't even out of that awkward friend talking stage yet.
