ash's POV
'the lifetime of Diogenes the cynic'
that was the title of the book ash was currently reading.
"interesting book." I said in amazement
"what book are you talking about ash, all you've been doing for the last half hour reading books" said Gary curious to the book that ash was reading
"its called the lifetime of Diogenes the cynic, an ancient Greek philosopher." I said explaining and showing the book to Gary
"you two, give us your pokemon" said two men with orange hair with a fire wisp motiff and glasses in orange yoga leggings, white shirt, black tie, black shoes, metal belts with a symbol of a flame and orange business coats in sync who sent out a houndoom and a sliggoo
"who are you!" said Gary wanting to know there identity
"we are-" said the first one "-team flare" said the second one "now give us your pokemon-" said the first one "-or face the music" said the second one
"number 2 please, go registeel, use power up punch on houndoom!" I said while sending out my registeel. "you two regice, use ice punch on the other pokemon!" said Gary while sending regice to attack the sliggoo.
"nnooo!!" said the two grunts in orange watching there two pokemon be one shot by the two legendary titans "have mercy on our souls and we will give you an egg we found in the wild" said the second one
"ok but only this one time" I said while being given the egg by the grunts "now go!" said Gary watching the two team flare members flee from them towards route 5
"registeel/regice, return" said the two trainers "so I will be keeping the egg?" I said "sure" said Gary calmly "ok then" I said
"ash, Gary, hey" said Paul, my sinnoh rival and Gary's boyfriend "are you ok I heard some shouting and crashing from over here" looking at me, Gary and the place they were standing "what happened here?" said Paul confused as hell
"two idiots saying they were part of a group called team flare and telling us to hand over our pokemon before we destroyed them, got an egg from them and making them run that way" said Gary explaining the situation to Paul and pointing to the egg in my arms and to route 5.
"oh, ok" was all paul said
