I woke up. my heart was pounding and I felt absolutely terrible; I had a pounding headache and my eyes felt sore due to all the crying I had done. I felt around for my phone before finally realising that it was on the floor. I reached out and picked it up. Just as I had picked it up I caught a glance of myself.Quickly, I ran to the bathroom

...

It couldn't be true! NO! I ran in front of the mirror, staring at my horrible reflection. I looked just like her. Just like my mom. my hazel hair was long and straight, it came up to my shoulders and was slightly messy.

My eyes where a deep dark shade of brown, practically black and my face was deathly pale.

I couldn't bare the fact that I looked like her. She was evil. Her eyes had scared me, they gave me nightmares and now I had them.

It had been so long since I had looked In a mirror that I didn't realise I looked like this. It's clear that my moms genes where a lot stronger than my dads. You can tell that I am her daughter, though I wish with all my heart that I wasn't.

In a couple of days I would be leaving to go to my new house. The house that once belonged to her. The house that held all the dreadful details of my dark and disturbing past.

We used to be a happy family : me, my mom and my dad. But ever since the day of that horrific accident, things were never the same...
