Chaoter four

" oh... wow...I....You're" hank stumbled trying to find the right words

"Not blue?" Raven asked and I smacked her arm lightly

"You and I have that in common right now" raven commented looking him over and I rolled my eyes at the pair of them

"No, no I meant you're, you're back, I never thought I'd see you here again" hank admitted and I looked at them both and smiled lightly

"Yea me neither" raven also admitted and I gave her a look and she put her hands up in defence and then hank went to go say something and then someone appeared behind raven, scaring me and hank

"I'm blue" he declared and I laughed lightly and hank looked at him and so did raven

"I'm Kurt" he introduced himself and I smiled at him and he waved a little and I smiled at him

"Oh right" raven said remembering what was actually going on

"Kurt Wagner" He said while sticking his hand out to hank and hank shook it and smiled in acknowledgement

"Welcome" hank greeted and then he put his hand out to me and I smiled and shook it

"Nice to meet you Kurt, I'm Lydia Xavier, the headmistress of the school and this is hank McCoy, one of the professors here" I introduced to him and he smiled at me and then I saw jubilee walk past

"Jubilee" I called out and she walked towards us and smiled at me

"Yes miss?" She asked snd I looked at her

"Would you mind showing Kurt around the school for us and help he get familiar with the place?" I asked and she nodded and led Kurt away from us and I looked at raven

"We have a lot to talk about raven when you are ready to come into the office" I said seriously and then walked into Charles' office while hank led her to the plane to impress her about it and then after a while she walked into the office and sat opposite me and looked at me

"So what started these insecurities then Lydia?" She asked me and I looked at her

"Well, we taught the kids about what happened in Cuba and they knew about the mutant fight so we also had to explain what the x men did and then people asked about moira, the only human and if she ever went for Charles and in the lesson it was a joke but after the lesson I thought about it more and more and I kept on thinking that he wants her instead of me so then I talked to Charles about it and then he said there was no chance of it happening and that I was the only one he wanted and then we found her in cerebro and then he said all these things about her and I just walked out cause I knew in that moment that he wanted her and not me" I ranted on and she looked at me

"Lydia, listen to me, he knows that everyone will kill him, even hank if he did such a thing to you and he has loved you for 20 years now Lydia, why would he change his mind now, why would he make that descion and kill the best 20 years of his life in a second" raven said and I looked at her and stood up and poured some alcohol into a glass and leaned up against the cupboard while holding it

"Why did it have to me though? Raven I thought everything was going back on track after what happened 10 years ago but now their all going downhill again" I said and a tear fell down my cheek and raven stood up and hugged me while taking the glass out of my hand and then hank walked in

"Charles has arrived" hank announced and I heard the door open and close

"Hank? Lydia? I want you to meet..." Charles stopped as he wheeled in and saw me, raven and hank in the room, raven hugging me and hank patting my back and we pulled away as soon as I saw him and wiped my eyes to show no evidence of me crying

"Moira?" Raven asked and walked towards her

"Raven?" Charles questioned, not believing that she was here

"I'm sorry have we met?" Moira asked raven and I swear I could smack that smile of her face but Alex gave me a warning look

"Uh, Hank, Alex, agent mctaggert can you please give us a minute?" Charles asked and smiled at them

"Of course" moira answered and they all walked out while I stood there with my arms folded and a sour look on my face

"Charles why didn't she recognise me, she knew me in this form" raven said confused as hell

"Well after you left us on the beach in Cuba, I took her memories of that time, have a seat" Charles explained and I looked at him while raven sat down

"Lucky girl" raven commented and looked at me and i picked back up the glass of alcohol and swigged it down
