Chapter eight

I started to come round and I was in a cage with green lights which mean electrical fencing so I couldn't do anything and then peter screamed and I also panicked

"What?" I asked him quickly

"What's wrong with you? Is that going to happen to all of us?" He asked panicked and looked at his hand while I rolled my eyes and laid back down, knowing what he was on about and hank also groaned in annoyance

"No, I just left my meds in the house" he explained and peter nodded and everyone got up except me cause my head was burning from something, like someone was trying to get in and do something bad but I was blocking them out

"What's happening? Where are we?" Moira asked and then raven saw Stryker through a window

"Hey, hey" raven shouted at him

" hello mystique" Stryker said through a speaker

"Major Stryker" raven said sarcastically

"Kernel Stryker" he corrected

"I wouldn't get too close to the wall if I was you, it may create some discomfort" he explained and I finally stood up

"I'm moira mctaggert, I'm a senior officer at the CIA" moira began her little speech

"I know who you are, agent mctaggert" Stryker said cutting her off

"You cannot keep me here in this place" she said and I rolled my eyes

"Actually I can, a psychic event just destroyed every nuke from here to Moscow, that event happened from exactly where we found you, at the home of the worlds most powerful psychic, so you're going to tell me, where is Charles Xavier?" He asked and looked at me more specifically

"It's not him you should be worried about, there's someone else, someone more powerful" moira said and I looked at her and sighed

"If you let us out of here we can help you" me and raven suggested to him but he didn't look one bit interested

"Do you really expect me to believe that?" He asked like we were dumb and I gave him a look

"Believe me buddy I'll give you my word and I never break my word" I said truthfully

"You can put on any face you want but I know who you are, what you are" he said and then turned off the speaker and then looked at his watch and walked away

"Bastard" I screamed at the windows while raven grabbed my hand before I could throw something

"Hey moira, what did you mean when you said someone more powerful than Charles" hank asked her and she looked at him and she looked stunned for words

"You mean jean don't you?" I asked her and she looked away

"How dare you. Jean is a child, a teenager who has complications but she can't hurt anyone because she doesn't want to and you are so lucky I promised Charles I wouldn't hurt you or you'd be knocked out by now" I warned her and she looked terrified and hank looked at me, came up to me and whispered in my ear

"Stop clenching your hands" he said and I let go and finger nail marks were now in my palm and I shook my hand a little while raven looked at me worried but I shook my head as I didn't want to talk about it and then we both started to look around for a way out

"You know him? Magneto?" He asked snd I looked at him weird

"I used to, not so sure anymore" raven said while I nodded as well, agreeing with her

"What was he like? Was he er like they say he was? A bad guy?" He asked and I shook my head

"No, I mean yea, he was a bit of both, why do you care so much? You see a speech on tv or something?" I asked and looked at him
