Chapter ten

I threw the invisible force as I saw the wall of the building eroding away but that destructed him long enough for the force to disappear but Apocalypse was walking to the building but then once piece of metal fell, then another to form a x and magneto hovering over it

"You betrayed me" Apocalypse said shocked

"No I betrayed them" magneto said and smiled at me and then began to throw metal at Apocalypse but it was doing no damage so I gave up on plan a and decided on a plan b so I made a vine and pulled used it to pull myself up to Charles where he was struggling

"Lydia, jean" he managed to get out and me and jean looked at him

"Help me" he managed to get out and we both looked at him and she put her fingers on my temple so that we was both one and we went into Charles mind and saw cerebro doors and we walked through them to see Apocalypse about to kill Charles and I looked at him menacingly

"Let go, unleash your power jean" Charles said to her

"Baby, don't struggle with the dark side, that's what's making it worse. Let everything go. We can wok on it all together after this is over. Baby I need you to be one with nature. Let it all go" he ordered and tears fell down my face

"Charles, I'll kill him, of course I want him defeated but I don't want the burden of killing someone after all this time" I sobbed and he looked at me

"I'll love you no matter what" he said and I looked at him shocked and nodded and let jean do her bidding first and I exited the 3 minds in there and looked at Apocalypse and saw jean begin to walk off the building but managing to stay in the air without falling And then fire burst out of her and it broke his armour and a burning red phoenix left her body and then magneto stabbed Apocalypse with his metal

"Now Lydia" Charles screamed and then I screamed out and I could see Amelia and tommy looking at me and a green light emitted out of me and all my vines struck Apocalypse and he looked at me annoyed and shocked

"No you were meant to turn to the dark side my child" he shouted and I smirked at him and twisted the vines so he was in more pain and Erik looked at me shocked, more than anything that I was actually broken my no killing policy and then hank broke out Scott so Scott was helping and then the purple bubble was there again

"He's getting away" hank said but I heard so I screamed it out to the rest but then lightning broke it all from the other female and I smiled at her

"All is revealed" Apocalypse said as he looked at me and jean and then he turned into sand and drifted away and then jean calmed down and flew back into the building and Amelia and tommy used my vine to get up to Charles as I ran to him

"Charles, weve lost him, he's gone" moira said and I glared at her as hank checked Charles and began to panic but I knew he wasn't dead and moira looked at me and how calm I was

"Why are you just standing there? He's dead don't you care about him? Why did he even marry you in the first place?" She interogated me and I stood her up with my powers and walked towards her

"Now, now moira, that's not one way to talk to me is it? I'm so calm and not freaking about my husbands well being because he's still alive I can feel it and so can jean so I'd shut that little trap before I make you have an accident okay?" I asked politely and she nodded worried and hank looked at me and I looked at jean and she walked forward and brought Charles back to conciseness

"Thank you jean" he said and she nodded and quickly gave moira her memories back and then looked at me and grabbed my hands and kissed them lightly

" I'm so unbelievably proud of you and what you've just done to help me, I've asked so much of you and brushed you off when you had your doubts about things" he said snd looked at moira

"But it is always going to be you, it was you from the first day I met you, it was you when we got married, had the kids, I lost my way but you still stayed. It was and forever will be you" he finished snd I looked down at him and kissed him lightly and the kids started to gag behind us and we both began to laugh at them

"You'll be like this soon Amelia" I warned her snd she looked at me wide eyed while Charles looked at me

"I really hope not Amelia" Charles said and I whacked his chest

"It was going to happen eventually,I did say this a couple of years ago when she nearly went out with that Trent" I said to him and he nodded

"Yes but I was thinking more the time of like 50 or something like that, not 17" he said and we both looked at each other and began to laugh at each other while everyone looked at us like we were crazy but then Kurt shot up, scaring me half to death

"Wait" he shouted and I put my hand on my heart while everyone began laughing and Charles nearly peed himself at how I was proper scared by the outburst

"What did I miss?" Kurt asked and I looked at tommy and Amelia and they looked at me and I shook my head

"I've had enough for one day, you can explain for once in your lives" I defended and they chuckled and talked to Kurt about what happened
