This story began as Fringe Runner, but I'm now expanding it as a single story that includes all 5 parts.
NOTE TO EARLIER READERS: I had parts 2 and 3 posted earlier and have now merged them into this story. If you've already read Fringe Station (part 2) or Fringe Campaign (part 3), then you might want to jump straight to part 4 (Fringe War) to pick up where you left off. Or, if it's been awhile, you may want to cruise through those earlier parts to freshen up.
