Korey looked back down at me after what seemed like forever of squeezing him, letting at the tears come tumbling down. "You ready to go?" He asked.

I wiped my eyes and slowly nodded. "Come on," He led me along to the other boys. "let's get you home."

It was a very quiet ride home. I stayed on Korey's shoulder the whole time. Now I know you may be thinking 'oh she likes Korey now' but that's not the case here. I like to think of Korey as a brother.

We arrived at my house and I said bye to the guys. I walked up my front steps and opened the door. My mom was sitting on the couch in the living room.

"How's your friend?" she asked.

"How'd you know about him?" I asked confused.

"He was on the news before. You were in the background crying." She explained.

"Mom I don't know what's going to happen to him." I broke down right there. My mom came up to me and hugged me tight. "I'm so scared."

"Shhh," she said. "He'll be okay. I'm sure of it."

The rest of the night my mom made it a girls night. We went out to the store and got a movie and some ice cream. She made the night from there on out much more enjoyable. But the whole night, Andrew was in the back of my mind.
