Chapter 2 - Sweet Talk

I'd sip up my lemonade, trying not to think of anything else but-
OH GOD BRAINFREEZE!

"AAAAAACK-"

I'd scream. Ibuki's face shot up.

"Woah! Are you ok?"
"BRAINFREEZE BRAINFREZE AHHHHHH"
"HOLD ON! IBUKI KNOWS CPR!"
"NONO DON'T!"
"Oh-"

She'd sit back down slowly as I nearly died in my seat. I'd wheeze out some air before I was able to talk. I'm so petty.

"Oh. God. That hurt."
"We should have just gotten lemonade! Ack!"
"Nono it's fine. Ack-"

I'd sip up some more lemonade. What a ride. There's even ruckus with lemonade! Who'd ever think of that!

"Anyways. Ibuki wants to know what's going on at school!"
"W-What?"
"Sonia~?"

Oh god... not now!

"What? No. I don't need to think about that right now."
"What? Is there something wrong?"
"No.."
"Ibuki wants to know! Everyone knows that you like Sonia, and Ibuki wants to know the actual TEA!"

She'd sip her lemonade

"I told you. I don't want to talk about it! That's the reason why I'm HERE!"
"Well if anything, the lemonade reminds you of Sonia!"
"What? No!"
"What, yes! Ibuki thinks you'll win her over, and Ibuki has an idea!"
"Huh? Idea?"
"Yes idea!"

She'd slip out her music packet. She was going to perform this weekend.

"I could give you free tickets to my show! She'd love to get away from everyone!"
"Get away? Everyone?"
"Yes everyone! Even your love rival!"

Ibuki was a genius!
I'd snatch the packet as two tickets fell out. I'd pick them up as some dark shadow was near me. I'd look up to see..

Oh no....

Ibuki's eyes brightened up.
"Now's your chance!"
She'd whisper.

"M-Miss Sonia! What a surprise!"
I'd let out an awkward laugh.

"It's a pleasure seeing you too, Kazuichi, and Ibuki!"

Ibuki would wave.

"So, what do you have there, Kazuichi?"
"H-Huh?"

I'd look down at the tickets.

"I-I was wondering if you. Would. Uh..."

Ibuki stood up.

"Souda would like to know if you would go on a little d-d-day with Souda to my concert!"

I'd stare at Ibuki. She now made things worse!

"Why certainly! When is it?"

I'd look at Sonia. This isn't possible! A princess wouldn't go to such a... concert.

"It's Saturday evening!"

Ibuki would slap my back as she walked out, though before she opened the door, she winked at me.

"I-I.. uhhhhh"
"So. Kazuichi."
"I-Huh?"

I'm so confused. What is going on? What HAPPENED? DID SONIA JUST SAY YES? IS MY DREAM COMING TRUE?

"I hope to see you Saturday evening!"
"Y-You too.. Miss Sonia!"

My heart is still racing! I'm confused.. but happy! Ibuki is a life saver!
