YEONJUN'S POV

She ran away again. Let me follow her. I know what she's thinking duh.

“I'll excuse myself first”

“Where are you going?”

“On our garden”, I said then left them

Of course I know where will she go. I can scan everything. I can hear other's thoughts.

I was walking quietly towards the garden when I heard someone's sobbing. Of course that's her. Who else do I think? I rolled my eyes to myself.

I walked quietly towards her pretending that I didn't saw her sobbing earlier. Let's just say that I have a rude attitude and sometimes cold so don't me.

I can feel that she's wiping her tears and standing up from her own feet as soon as I came in

“Oh! I didn't notice that you're here”, she said in a low tone

“How long have you been standing there?”, she asks

“Just now”, I said while shrugging my shoulder

Just then, an awkward silence came between us. I can only hear the breeze that is flowing. I cleared my throat to escaped the awkwardness. I'm not used to it.

“So, are you feeling much better now?”, I asked awkwardly

I heard that she chuckles a little.

“Not much but I'm fine”, she said with a smile

Well, that's much better, seeing her like this. I know that I said that I'm rude but this is the first time I encountered a girl like her.

Am I falling for her? Ugh! No, I'm not. Focus Yeonjun. Your mission is to keep the two of them safe. I need to control myself.

Just then, someone interrupted us.

“Hey Nayah! I have good news for you!”

Aw man! It's Soobin.

“Yeonjun? What are you doing here? I mean what are you TWO doing here?”, he said in a more like teasing tone

I slowly faced him with a serious face.

“Can you please just shut up?”, I said to him by our connection

He just shrug. I just rolled my eyes. He cleared his throat so that he can continue on what he wanted to say.

“Anyways, I just wanted to say that the government police already arrested your father”, Soobin said which made Nayah tear up

I can't tell if it's tears of joy or tears of sadness. She has mixed emotions so I can't tell.

“Oh! Really?!”, she asked while covering her mouth in shock

“Yes, do you want to pay him a visit?”, Soobin asked again

“I don't know but I want to see him”, she replied unsure

“I'll take that as a yes, I'm going to prepare the van. Yeonjun, lead her the way”, he said while winking before he left the two of us again

“So, shall we go?”, I asked her while helding out my hand but she refused it, she just nod at me with a smile

Pfft. What's wrong? I'm just being a gentleman. I just shake my head and walked away followed by her on my back.

Suddenly, an idea popped on my head.

I stopped on my tracks causing her to stop too from walking. Just then, when I faced to her she accidentally bumped onto my chest. Our faces are inches away.
