DashiDog@Pink: basically an emoticon is just symbols that look like a face, the face that you want them to mean

Here_to_help: for example if I'm smiling I would send u this face :)

Crunchy_carrots: and if i'm laughing a lot I would send this face XD

ProfessorI: I still don't understand. Tweak that's just an X and a D, not a face at all.

Here_to_help: no, but if you turn it on its side it looks like a laughing mouth and crossed eyes
