Maya's POV

when we got to the hospital I began walking in after Andys Gurney

"whoa, whoa, whoa you should not be walking on that" Ben said

"I have to stay with Andy which means the doctors need to think I'm fine so I can stay with her," I say and start limping closer to the door. Ben came behind me and picked me up in his arms like a child and cared me inside to a bed.

"you know I really hate you right now," I said as he places me on the bed.

"I know, but you will make thing ten times worse and if you don't stay in this bed you'll likely cause damage that could end your fire fighting career," he said

just then a doctor walked over

"what do we have here?" he asked

"this is Maya Bishop she was in a serve accident and unconscious for about 30 minutes after, we found her about 45 minutes after the crash she has a possible broken leg among other possible blunt force injuries," Ben said

"ok, well I am Dr.Link and I will be doing your work up today," the doctor said

"Ok, uh Ben thank you, and can you go get an update on Andy for me," I asked

"yah, I'll be right back," Ben said

Meredith Grey's POV

Everything had been slow today. I knew that was a terrible sign. when I walked into Andys Trauma room and saw just how bad she was, I knew I was going to be fighting the clock to save her. she was bleeding internally and had a dislocated knee along with a grade 3 concussion and a broken leg, despite all of that she was awake and ordained. she was in a lot of pain but she tried to hide it.

"Meredith" Andy muttered

"Andy, we got you," I said

"is Maya okay?" she asked cringing in pain

"Glasses Get an update on Maya Bishop for me" I ordered

"my dad, is he here?" Andy asked

"he is but he can't come in here right now,"

"just can you tell him that I'm okay," she said

Just then Ben walked in wanting to speak to me

"I need an update, on her, Maya is freaking out," Ben said

"its bad, *I paused* her abdomen is full of blood and she needs her leg put in place with pins, her knee needs reset, and she has a concussion, I also suspect some broken Ribs. Any update on Maya" I asked

"she's got broken leg that needs put in place but other than she's fine," Ben said

"Okay," I said

"Andy, Maya is fine she needs her leg put back into place, but she'll be fine," I said

"good," she said

"we are going to take you up to surgery now" I added

Maya's POV

"Ben, hows Andy?" I asked

"she is stable right now, they are going to take her up to surgery," Ben said

Dr. Link told me "someone will be down in a bit to get you. They will take you to pre-OP and get you ready for surgery where we will re-aline your leg."

"how long will surgery be, I want to be there when Andy wakes up," I asked

"I don't know but chances are you will wake up earlier than her due to the extent of her injuries," Dr.Link said

It was not long after that when someone came and got me for pre-OP. At this point, Andy was already in surgery and the whole team was sitting with me.

The nurse said "if you would like you can have one person come and sit with you during pre-OP,"

Before I could even ask Jack got up to come with me. After a little while in pre-OP, a new nurse came to take me to the OR. Before I was all the way out of the room, Jack came over, he gave a kiss on the forehead and whispered in my ear,
