Maya's POV
The next day dr. Link came in to walk me through my surgery. I kinda tuned him out, I wasn't worried about the surgery I was more interested in getting out of my hospital room. As I started listening again I heard him ask
"Have you decided what color you want?"
"That is for Andy to decide" I answered pointing in her direction.
Andy quickly answered "I'm thinking maybe Hot Pink, neon orange, and neon green. You can get creative with how you actually use those colors"
We both laughed as she said it
"Okay I will see what I can do, also someone will be down in a bit to get you" Dr.Link finished.
Once he was gone I asked Andy
"Where Jack?, I thought he was gonna be here"
Just as I said if Andy got a message on her phone from Jack.
Jack: Hey, can you tell Maya I'm sorry I'm not there, we got called in on big fire at the end of shift. We just finishing up and me and the rest of the team will be there ASAP. Can you tell her good luck for me?
Andy told me what jack sent her, I understood fire don't place by your schedule. A few minutes later a nurse can in to get me and took me to pre-op
