In class, Scott is begging Stiles to talk to him. "Still not talking to me? Okay, can you at least tell me if your dad's okay? It's just a bruise, right? Some soft tissue damage? Nothin' that big--You know I feel really bad about it, right? Okay. What if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out and--That I went to Derek for help?"

Stiles doesn't turn around as he says, "If I was talking to you, I'd say that you're an idiot for trusting him. But obviously I'm not talking to you."

As I expected, his curiosity gets the best of him, and he turns around to face Scott. "What did he say?"

Scott gives us a puppy dog smile and tells us how Derek wants him to get angry.

I stand between the boys, making a hilarious dip in our line. Stiles glances at Scott. "Wh--he wants you to tap into your animal side and get angry?"

"Yeah." Scott nods.

Stiles sighs softly. "Alright, well, correct me if I'm wrong, but every time you do that, you try to kill someone, and that someone's usually me."

"I know. That's what he means when he says he doesn't know if he can teach me. I have to be able to control it."

"How exactly does he plan on teaching you control?" I ask.

Scott shrugs. "I don't know. I don't think he does either."

Stiles instantly gets a thought. "Okay. When are you seeing him again?"

"He told me not to talk about it. Just act normal and get through the day."

"When?"

"He's picking me up at the Animal Clinic after work."

"After work." Stiles repeats. "Alright, well, that gives us to the end of the school day then."

"To do what?"

"To teach you myself."

We head to the cafeteria for lunch. Scott holds up a textbook to stare at Allison secretly. Stiles rolls his eyes. "I think the book's making it more obvious. Besides, she's reading anyway."

"So did you come up with a plan yet?" Scott asks, ignoring Stiles' comment.

Stiles nods. "I think so."

"Does that mean you don't hate me now?"

"No. But your crap has infiltrated my life, so now I have to do something about it. Plus I'm definitely a better Yoda than Derek."

"Okay, yeah, you teach me." Scott answers, not getting Stiles' reference.

"Yeah, I'll be your Yoda."

"Yeah, you be my Yoda."

"Your Yoda I will be." Stiles says, earning a confused look from Scott. "I said it backwards."

"Yeah, I--I know."

"Alright, you know what? I definitely still hate you. Uh-huh. Oh, yeah."

I narrow my eyes at Scott. "Seriously? Star Wars? How have you never seen it? It's only, like, the best movies ever created!"

Stiles raises his eyebrows. "You know Star Wars?!"

"Of course I do. It's only my favorite movie ever!"

"You're officially more of my friend than Scott right now. Hey, go with him to the lacrosse field. I'll be out shortly."

Not knowing what Stiles is planning, Scott and I head out to the lacrosse field. Stiles appears a few minutes later with a couple things in his hand.
