"Meg, are you okay?" Stiles asks.

"Ektós apó to gegonós óti to kefáli mou eínai gamóto gamiméno, o, nai, eímai ypérochos." I retort.

(Translation: Besides the fact that my head is f-ing bleeding, oh, yeah, I'm great.)

"I know you cursed, but I don't know what you said. What do you need, Meg?"

"In the fridge, there's a bottle full of nectar. It's a demigod drink. I need you to pour me a small glass."

"How small is small?"

I groan at the pain in my head. "I don't know, Stiles! A quarter to a half cup! Skatá!"

Stiles comes back with a glass half-full of an amber liquid. I take a sip and instantly taste the familiarity of seltzer. There's something about New York seltzer that makes a native New Yorker happy.

"I--I need to head to Derek's and convince him Ms. Blake is the Darach."

"You shouldn't be alone. I'll come with you."

"Scott's coming. But your head--"

"Stiles, I'm fine."

He nods and asks, "Is Scott here?"

I stand up and walk to Scott's room and bang on the door. "Scotto! You here?"

He opens his door and frowns. "We've talked about the pounding, Meg. What do you want?"

"Stiles and I are gonna talk to Derek and tell him about Ms. Blake. We gotta go."

We get to Derek's loft and Stiles says, "Ms. Blake, Jennifer, is the Darach. She took my dad. She's gonna try to tell you she's not, but we all saw her. She hurt Megara and Scott."

"She's the one killing innocent people." I add.

Derek's lips purse and he nods. "Find somewhere to hide. Someone's coming."

The three of us duck in a dark corner moments before Ms. Blake enters. "Derek? Derek, where are you?"

"Right here." Derek says, stepping out of the shadows.

"Thank God." She hugs Derek. "Something happened at the recital. At the school. Okay, I need to tell you before you hear it, before you hear it from any of them."

"From who?" Derek asks, playing the innocent.

"Scott, Stiles, Megara. They're gonna tell you things. Things you can't believe. You have to trust me, okay? You trust me."

"What is it?"

"Promise you'll listen to me." Ms. Blake says, kissing Derek.

I gag silently and Scott shakes his head. "I promise." Derek says.

Ms. Blake then pulls away. "They're already here, aren't they? So...they told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?"

We step out from the shadows and Scott glares at her. "We told him you're the one killing people."

Ms. Blake scoffs. "Oh, that's right. Committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I probably do it on my lunch hour. That way, I can get back to teaching high school English the rest of the day. That makes perfect sense."

Stiles' eyes get misty as he asks, "Where's my dad?"

"How should I know? Derek, tell me you don't believe this."

He crosses his arms. "Do you know what happened to Stiles' father?"

"No."

"Ask her why she almost killed Lydia and why she gave Meg a bad concussion."
